Guest Posted 20 April 2016 Posted 20 April 2016 No words about Dyer,he should be considered too,as a second half substitution totally forgot about him. he'd be chomping at the bit.
Mark_w Posted 20 April 2016 Posted 20 April 2016 Hope it's not 1-1 ...if it is we won't win the title. We might. If we draw with Swansea, lose to Man United, beat Everton and draw with Chelsea then it'd only take one Tottenham loss for us to win the league. Why would anyone be waving the white flag because of a draw against Swansea when we'd still be top?

Why would anyone be waving the white flag because of a draw against Swansea when we'd still be top? Because Tottenham won't lose, at best they draw at Stamford Bridge. It would mean we had to go and win at United or Chelsea and draw the other!
Mark_w Posted 20 April 2016 Posted 20 April 2016 Because Tottenham won't lose, at best they draw at Stamford Bridge. It would mean we had to go and win at United or Chelsea and draw the other! No it wouldn't Swansea (D), Man United (D), Everton (W), Chelsea (D), would win us the league if Spurs draw a game, it's hardly an impossible scenario. Giving up when we're worst case scenario 2 points clear (if we draw with Swansea 3) with 3 games to go would be insane.
americanfox Posted 20 April 2016 Posted 20 April 2016 Cup-tied, ain't he? Cup-tied = already played in a cup competition for another club and thus ineligible to complete for current club in said cup competition. Dyer is simply ineligible for this fixture as a condition of his loan (can't play against parent club), probably. He wasn't a named substitute for the reverse fixture, so this is probably the case.

It was a joke. Don't throw a pie at me!
SpinneyHillRanger Posted 20 April 2016 Posted 20 April 2016 Look, a draw at Swansea isn't the end of the world. Obviously I think we should win due to what we are fighting for whereas Swansea are not really up for it like us. Swansea could do a smash and grab if we struggle to break them down without vardy. But I'm confident we have this. A draw with swansea just means we must not lose against man utd. A loss on the other hand means we have to go to old Trafford and win with and do it without vardy (assuming spurs win all their games). So i say the most important thing is don't lose against Swansea. Go for the win no doubt but if it's level with 10 minutes to go, we should go for the win but not make it do or die. I reckon we can beat Everton and Chelsea. So two draws and two wins will do it. Hopefully ulloa and okazaki do it, and we beat Swansea. That allows us to lost at old Trafford and still have it all in our hands.
foxfanazer Posted 20 April 2016 Posted 20 April 2016 I'm usually a happy clapper but I have to admit I'm bricking it ever so slightly. Just seems like things are going against us
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 20 April 2016 Posted 20 April 2016 I'm usually a happy clapper but I have to admit I'm bricking it ever so slightly. Just seems like things are going against usMan up buddyThis is the time for firm backing from us fans not quivering wreck time It's ours to lose, we can and hopefully will finish the job off Up the Foxes
ARM1968 Posted 20 April 2016 Posted 20 April 2016 Get a grip people. This is a match we should win. A match we can win. A match we we will win. What happened to keeping the faith and being fearless?
Guest Posted 20 April 2016 Posted 20 April 2016 Man up buddy This is the time for firm backing from us fans not quivering wreck time It's ours to lose, we can and hopefully will finish the job off Up the Foxes I felt quite ill after the draw...then the stoke loss...then the vardy ban extension.... But I'm starting to come round to the positives. We should be able to manage 'good enough' the remainder of the season, and spurs should drop points at least once, so yippie-skippie let's do this, and tell the cleaning lady to stock up on silverware polish.
SpinneyHillRanger Posted 20 April 2016 Posted 20 April 2016 Really hope ulloa and okazaki can build up a partnership. Deeney and igalo caused big problems at old Trafford. I think if they hit it off, we should score a few past Swansea. Mahrez hopefully has a great game
foxfanazer Posted 20 April 2016 Posted 20 April 2016 Man up buddy This is the time for firm backing from us fans not quivering wreck time It's ours to lose, we can and hopefully will finish the job off Up the Foxes It's ok saying man up but this is our one and only chance (probably) to win the league. With Vardy out for a couple of games it's quite easy to see why people are nervous. Me bricking it won't have any impact on our final positioning
weller54 Posted 20 April 2016 Posted 20 April 2016 Spurs have complained about Mark Clattenburg... They've found out he likes a bit of red Leicester in his sandwiches!
richardsfoxes Posted 20 April 2016 Posted 20 April 2016 Ulloa and Gray replace shinji and Vardy, have mahrez playing through the middle. **** what anyone else does, just get the points we need!
coolhandfox Posted 20 April 2016 Posted 20 April 2016 Would Spurs swap positions with us? Of course they would, that tells you all you need to know!
ARM1968 Posted 20 April 2016 Posted 20 April 2016 It'll be good to win a couple of games without Vardy. Not good if we are that reliant on one player. After Sunday the players will be fired up. We are in great form. Things will look much better after Sunday.
MagicMahrez Posted 20 April 2016 Posted 20 April 2016 Line up:???? Schmeichel Fuchs Morgan Huth Simpson Mahrez Kante Drinky Albrighton Shinji Ulloa
ARM1968 Posted 20 April 2016 Posted 20 April 2016 And that will win us the game, with Schlupp, Gray and Amerty to come on and drive nails of pace through the soft heart of their defence.
kierant Posted 20 April 2016 Posted 20 April 2016 hink Gray could be a sneaky replacement for Vardy......he's looked great coming on, really composed on the ball. Ulloa was fantastic on Sunday too when he had no help with him, any 2 out of the 3 can do a job........I hope!
Chester Dontlie Posted 21 April 2016 Posted 21 April 2016 Funny, I just had a dream about this game. I think Okazaki and Ulloa were starting (not 100% sure about that), and I specifically remember we were three-nil up around 70th minute Then I logged in on Foxestalk to post in match thread and woke up Can't remember who scored!
