fuchsntf Posted 22 April 2016 Posted 22 April 2016 That Sky interview,!!! That interview, from Ranieri threw down the gauntlet not only to Spurs, but will give a great fillip to the players, and now the players know that gauntlet gets picked up by the whole team. King Richard expects..he bloody well wants that crown.Hes had enough of parking tickets. This weekend we will again be in trouble..even Queenie might be asked to bend the rules, and turn a blind eye. We the foxes are going out to hunt Swans, and the tasty but late Sunday roast, needs to be served on a scorching platter, that it radiates its heat through until Monday night.. The ugly ducklings revenge....
Will Loz Posted 22 April 2016 Posted 22 April 2016 I have an epiphany I think we will win 3 - 0! Multiple goals in succession. I think West Ham game thought us something dont park
coolhandfox Posted 22 April 2016 Posted 22 April 2016 Does that include Kane facing a suspension? Yes, they would still swap 100%
lazlofox Posted 22 April 2016 Posted 22 April 2016 One game without Vardy this year in the cup when Mahrez was rested at White Hart Lane. Unlucky not to win. Alot of fans have said that we needed a bigger presence up front in the games when teams set up shop against us rather than the SO/JV partnership. Vardy is a big miss but he was struggling to make a mark in some of those games. This may work in our favour starting with Ulloa and considering when we play Everton (who are bound to set up for damage limitation) it might be Leo and Vardy that start in that game. Anyway we will win, the way some people are going on you would think that we are playing with 10 men for the rest of the season.
STUHILL Posted 22 April 2016 Posted 22 April 2016 Slightly concerned about how we can adjust without Vardy. The last 5 games or so, we have played an ever increasing direct game, where we are scoring goals by playing Vardy in over the top or through the middle. He stays up there when we are defending and his movement and pace terrorises defenders and means they have to stay deep so they don't get burned over the top for pace. Without this option we must find a different way of playing. Do we have Ulloa come on but play the slightly deeper Okazaki role and have Okazaki play the Vardy role of staying high up the pitch looking for balls over the top or through the middle. Or do we change style to suit Ulloa's strength. Get the ball to his feet and allow him to hold it up and bring midfielders into attack. My concern for Ulloa is that he often comes deep in search of the ball and then we we attack, he hasn't got the pace to then get into the box to be a goal threat. Perhaps that's why we need Okazaki in the Vardy type role, so we always have someone high up the pitch with pace and the ability to get into the box quickly when we have our typical fast counter attacks. Could see Gray coming on early if we are struggling to create chances without the directness of Vardy. Have every faith in Claudio and one blessing is this is not a last minute injury we have to deal with. He will have been planning all week for this game and who better to come up with a strategy to win, that the god father!
jammie82uk Posted 22 April 2016 Posted 22 April 2016 Maybe revert back to earlier this season and we can see more of this on Sunday
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 23 April 2016 Posted 23 April 2016 Game is tomorrow One more bloody shift at work before its the day of the game Come on LEICESTER Up the Foxes
Foxxed Posted 23 April 2016 Posted 23 April 2016 I can't wait until this game. Simply so all the worries, hypotheticals and moaning about refs on this forum can die down. I think Okakazi can be a drop in replacement for Vardy: the has the speed and class and this is his natural position. And we've been scoring without Vardy this last few games. The media thinks we're a one man team: we know better.
Mezeker Posted 23 April 2016 Posted 23 April 2016 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xr9bfLeq-8I how can you be worried when you see this. I have 100% faith we will win the title if this is how the manager and team feels.
gdl9050 Posted 23 April 2016 Posted 23 April 2016 Only just noticed Palace Watford FA cup semi is on at the same time as this. Pathetic. Talk about devaluing the FA cup even more.

I have 100% faith we will win the title if this is how the manager and team feels. I'll admit, I was fuming that Nigel got sacked. He was one of our most successful managers of all time. Also, I loved his interviews, you never knew what was about to happen, from calling refs arrogant to calling a journalist an ostrich. He always cracked me up. Claudio is the complete opposite, always keeps his cool, but at the same time he is so entertaining - which is great to watch. Anyway, I believe we can do this now, let's do the business against Swansea and things will calm down on here!
gdl9050 Posted 23 April 2016 Posted 23 April 2016 Is anyone concerned by the fitness levels of Okazaki and ulloa? Don't think ulloa has played a full 90 minutes all season. And Okazaki can only seem to last 70 mins. If both start and we don't get an early goal, it could become difficult by the end.

NotQuiteAFox Posted 23 April 2016 Posted 23 April 2016 this make me warm inside haha Swear he knows something we dont
Countryfox Posted 23 April 2016 Posted 23 April 2016 I know we have mentioned it before many times but this is a must must win game .... If we do the pressure will be back on Spurs and our missing hero issue will not be such an issue after all. If we don't win ..... Not sure about a Moss chant ... Let's move on and not remind the lads of the week before.
SpinneyHillRanger Posted 23 April 2016 Posted 23 April 2016 Okazaki can play 90, as long as he doesn't have to work chasing as much as he usually does. Also if we are not leading by the 70 minute mark, I can see Claudio make a few changes, like schlupp, gray, with maybe okazaki/ulloa/albrighton making way depending on performances up to that point

purpleronnie Posted 23 April 2016 Posted 23 April 2016 I can't see us winning the title unless we beat swansea. Biggest game this season.

Sometimes bringing an ineffectual forward off for a midfielder might even make us more offensive depending on how Claudio sets us up. If it means for example the wingers are given more license to surge forward and support whoever we have up front, it might mean more goals. Who knows what the performances are going to be by the 70 minute mark, but I'd expect changes regardless, either defensive minded ones if we are winning or more attacking ones if we are level or down. And if someone like Okazaki is tired then he will freshen it up, it's happened all season. I personally think Okazaki can last the 90 minutes if he is up front and asked to chase a little less and concentrate more on making runs behind the defenders.
