ARM1968 Posted 19 April 2016 Posted 19 April 2016 Our form is great. Spirit in the team is great. Manager is great. Won many matches with Vardy off the pace and not scoring. All of our remaining matches are winnable ALL of them. No need for panic buttons or parachutes. One game at a time and we'll be fine, (obviously barring useless ref's).
Sharpe's Foxes Posted 19 April 2016 Posted 19 April 2016 Without Vardy things will be much more difficult, but I believe we can cope. It's the goal difference that slightly concerns me. If we finish level on points, then Spurs would be champions. Think of it that way, and we have a four point lead in reality, surely. Keep going lads. That's already calculated into the 8 points. 8 points gives us 81 total point. The max that Spurs can get is 80 points if they win out. So 3 wins or 2 wins and 2 draws will give us 81 which the Spurs can't match 2 wins and 2 losses, 1 win and 3 draws from us and Spurs would take the crown if they win out.
mikael2 Posted 19 April 2016 Posted 19 April 2016 Seriously. We've just drawn with a bloody good West Ham side despite being a goal down with ten men with seconds to go. The lads will be buzzing. The stuff with Vardy will galvanise them further. People have seen Spurs beat a crap Stoke side and are wetting their knickers. Laughable. There's nothing that's happened this season to suggest we can't beat Swansea at home. Vardy or no Vardy. Same with Everton. I think United will be tough, but Chelsea won't give a shit. Calm down. It doesn't matter if Spurs win every game 20-0 (they will drop points somewhere, by the way). Five points clear with four to play? That's a fantastic position to be in. We're going to win the league. It's so very good to read this from you. I still believe in winning the league by the Foxes.I am still angry about the refs wrong decisions but that won't change the way towards the league title. C'mon Foxes.
Aeropars Posted 19 April 2016 Posted 19 April 2016 I don't care how well Spurs are playing. They cannot outplay mathematical fact. Destiny is in our hands and I have no reason to believe our team are not prepared to do it.
biggs Posted 19 April 2016 Posted 19 April 2016 We have 4 wins in us to take this in style. Having Vardy out will just bring the boys together that bit more to compensate. Nothing but moaning on the Spurs front as we take this home.
suffolk fox Posted 19 April 2016 Posted 19 April 2016 Sorry to join a be a Debbie downer but I cant see Spurs losing a single match and I can see the pressure getting to us in the next 2 matches. Its the small teams that are the worry. I think we will lose against Swansea and then draw Everton. The dream was good while it lasted. I have accepted 2nd or 3rd place. Best people do the same so they dont get depressed when it happens. At least we are going to Europe yes small consolation but many would have given their right nut if they were told at the start of the season we would end up 2nd. Oh well we did try roll on 2017 and lets see if we can fight again for Europe. Fook me. Good job you weren't prime minister when Germany invaded Poland we would have had Nazi jackboots walking down Whitehall. We are five points clear we both have four games left. It's not over yet regardless what certain media types and Talkspurs are saying. We will win the league end of.
NewEnglandFox Posted 19 April 2016 Posted 19 April 2016 We're in a better position than 2 games ago. We're going to win the league.
ARM1968 Posted 19 April 2016 Posted 19 April 2016 and why is the pressure only going to get to us? Win Sunday and the gap is 8pts again. Spurs win its back to 5pts with 3 games left. Spurs are in the pressure situation.
Blue Ed Posted 19 April 2016 Posted 19 April 2016 I have to admit Spurs form gets me nervous so at the time dropping 2 points I thought the worse. But looking back the penalty Ulloa put away was probably the greatest penalty I've seen and if we were going to bottle it that would have been the moment. The mentality of this team is so solid, detirmined to fight for every single point and when asked to step up and be counted every player who's put on a shirt on has done just that. If we do lose out to Spurs fair play I'll be disapointed but take nothing away from this team and this season
Bluetintedspecs Posted 19 April 2016 Posted 19 April 2016 The Don will be calming and re focusing the lads this week. Beat the Swans 8 points clear 3 to go assuming Spurs win on Monday, 5 points clear 3 to go I wouldn't swap with Spurs despite their bs bravado and press hype even them cvnts cant contrive 5points for a win!
Legend_in_blue Posted 19 April 2016 Posted 19 April 2016 Next four... Us - home win against Swansea Them - home win against West Brom Gap 5 points Us - away loss or draw against Man Utd Them - away loss or draw against Chelsea Gap no less than 4 points Us - home win against Everton The gap will be 7 with Spurs two to play because of the time diff's between our games and theirs. Them - irrelevant Final game - irrelevant. It really is that simple.
SpinneyHillRanger Posted 19 April 2016 Posted 19 April 2016 not expecting much from spurs opponents to be honest, but i do expect us to win our next 3. Would take a draw at old trafford, although would've expected a win had vards been there. Maybe might still expect a win depending on how our attacks does against swansea. Can't wait for the Swansea game, everyone will be up for it after what gone on last few days.... and after FA give their verdict, i think players will be even more up for it. The good thing is ranieri will get them to channel this anger in the right way, and hopefully will get his tactics spot on

MC Prussian Posted 19 April 2016 Posted 19 April 2016 It's rather simple. Five points ahead with four games to go. If this isn't the time to stand together and be counted, then I don't know what it is. This occasion may never come again in the history of this club, so it's in our hands and minds to support this team as good as we can to push them over the finishing line and become a part of the story of a lifetime - after all those great games, a sensational run, several club records broken, the rise of Vardy, Mahrez' magic, Kanté making a name for himself, all this effort and heart put in by the owners and the management team, the club, players and fans deserve nothing less. We are Leicester! (Now for someone to dig out the 300 "This Is Sparta!" clip )

clark Posted 19 April 2016 Posted 19 April 2016 We're in a better position than 2 games ago. We're going to win the league. how can you say thay? We have 4 more points, Spurs have 6 more.
NewEnglandFox Posted 19 April 2016 Posted 19 April 2016 how can you say thay? We have 4 more points, Spurs have 6 more. The probably of us winning the league is slightly better being 5 points clear with 4 to play than 7 clear with 6 to play. The points on the table don't tell the whole story.
foxes_rule1978 Posted 19 April 2016 Posted 19 April 2016 how can you say thay? We have 4 more points, Spurs have 6 more. If Spurs carry on with that rate they won't win the title
clark Posted 19 April 2016 Posted 19 April 2016 If Spurs carry on with that rate they won't win the title I presume you mean, that won't so long as we keep at the rate of 4 points from 2 games? Otherwise, clearly, they would win it if they kept winning every game. Assuming win, draw, win, draw, I'd feel more comfortable if we won by more than a single point to be honest. Not that I wouldn't take that happily if we could do it! There is the question of whether we can maintain that rate of points though. ManU and Chelsea away are a bigger hurdle than the likes of Sunderland away. To achieve 8 points from the four games we would have to get draws at Old Trafford and Stamford Bridge and wins against both Swansea and Everton at home. If only Spurs would start dropping points instead of scoring goals.
limeydale Posted 20 April 2016 Posted 20 April 2016 We need to be #FEARLESS Fight Earnestly Attack Relentlessly Leicester Easily Sink Spurs I've never understood the mentality of those fans who seem to love it the minute something goes wrong. It takes a special kind of supporter to think all is lost when we're in the best position we've ever been in by a country mile. Too rite mate, I wouldn't want any ov em in my fox hole.
limeydale Posted 20 April 2016 Posted 20 April 2016 Yeah but remember our west brom match. Sorry I have a bad feeling... dont take Swansea for granted. We will draw and that will be the end of us Somebody needs taking out back o' the woodshed
Hamstonian Posted 20 April 2016 Posted 20 April 2016 Come on. Get behind the team. Spurs are chasing and will drop points. Even if they don't, Ranieri's got this. West Ham was worst case scenario and won't happen again. Vardy will be back by Everton at the latest. The title will be won. I have no doubt.
