What's Wrong With People?

Well I'm worried.

Me too but Spurs need the majority of matches to go there way.

If they W2 D2 then 4pts is what we need.

Even W3 D1 and we need 6pts

If we get an unexpected win away at Man Utd or Chelsea or they drop points to West Brom or Southampton we'll almost be able to touch the finishing line.

Spurs have looked awesome but they can't afford to slip up where as we can.

I'm nervous ahead of the Swansea game and I'm sure everybody will be feeling the same on Sunday. It's a must win game. But we're still 5 points clear and we've got to remember that. Spurs looked very good again last night, regardless of how bad Stoke were, and sometimes it looks as if they aren't going to drop a point. But we've got to make sure we don't drop anymore now either.

I said before the weekend that we'd draw (against a very solid West Ham side) and Spurs would win so this position was expected.

Also clinging on to West Brom having a very good record at Spurs over recent seasons, but I understand this Spurs team are a different level to past teams.

Hopeful West Brom frustrate in the early stages and make Tottenham nervy for the first time, keep it narrow and force Spurs into having to launch crosses into the box..Berahino might also turn it on if he wants that move to Tottenham!...or am I just clutching?

Why are we "clinging on" to anything? We don't need Spurs to drop points at all and can even afford a defeat or two draws ourselves.

We're still massive favourites. The big variable is that we're missing Vardy for 2 games and Mahrez seems to have disappeared off the face of the earth.

I'd still make us favourites even if we pick up 2 draws from the next 2 games, irrespective of what Spurs do.

Beat Swansea as we ought to on Sunday and we're in an unbelievably good position. Don't beat Swansea and we're still in a decent position.

It was our first supposed slip up since 1st March against West Brom.

Yesterday we drew with 10 men for 35 mins.

We haven't lost since 14 February when we had 10 men for 40 mins at the Emirates

Bar WBA the last time we dropped points with 11 men on the field was Villa away on 20 January. And we missed a penalty that day.

I know, we've been amazing for a long time, but the pressure now is immense, don't you feel it? It feels very different to me now, every game is like a cup final but even worse than a cup final even. And we have to do it without Vardy for what looks like at least half the games left, he's played all season so this is new for us. Any team who loses their 20+ goal-scoring striker is going to find it difficult. Imagine if Spurs lost Kane for the next two games. I know they have Alli and some others who score a lot of goals but Kane is far ahead of everyone else in their team. It's the same for us with Vardy, he's a massive loss.

I'm also worried that the situation from the West Ham game will change the way the remaining games go. Will our defenders play differently because they feel under more scrutiny now? If not and we play the same, will the next ref screw us over because he is looking for any small push or shirt pull in the box?

First of all. Stoke were an absolute disgrace tonight. Yes Spurs were good and rightly being praised but lets not kid ourselves, Stoke were painfully bad and Spurs walked through their defence numerous times with minimal effort. Think anyone would have beaten them tonight.

I don't stress too much about Spurs as I think they will probably win every game so I just accept it now. I do think however that WBA should hopefully put up a much better defensive display and surely Pulis who already said he wants us to win the league, is the only manager who plays for 0-0's. Could go the same way as Stoke though and that's what we should expect.

My concern is missing Vardy of course. I know he is only one player and we are here because of the others too, but he is so important to our team and how we play, even when he isn't scoring, he is creating them and Ulloa is such a different player and I know he had a great 30mins yesterday, but we have all seen him struggle in other games where he looks slow and clumsy and too ponderous infront of goal. I'm hoping Okazaki can excell in the Vardy role and perhaps Mahrez will be back on fire, we really need it. Swansea are certainly no walkovers. I think we need to keep calm, something I thought we lacked yesterday and I saw a lot of reckless challenges and over aggressive behaviour which we haven't seen before, maybe the first sign of pressure getting to us. I think if we can stay calm, keep it tight at the back and let Mahrez and possibly Gray coming on, to get hold of the ball and cause chaos then we can win 1 or 2-0.

I don't like to be all doom and gloom but losing Vardy for what will surely be 2 games is a disaster. Lets just hope the team use it to fire them up and Ulloa could become a cult hero with two big games!

What a relief it would be if the WBA game goes our way. Pulis is good at winning against teams like Spurs. Looking at their earlier meeting with WBA they drew 1-1. A draw would be enough to take the pressure off.

Yep, spot on and totally agree.

Just to clarify the "clinging on" comment was not aimed at our position and what we need to do, more just in terms of West Brom being able to nick something at Spurs.

Me too mate!

Can you blame we for being worried though? This title means the world to me; I don't want to blow it.

It means the world to every Leicester fan bud!

Worrying about it alters nothing other than blood pressure :)

We are still very firmly in the box seat.

Why worry, if you asked Spurs if they want to swap positions with us and have Kane suspend for a couple of games they would snap your hand off.

You can't lose pts on the board, but you can lose games no matter how well you are playing.........

The closer Spurs get to us the more the pressure increases on them as well as us.

If ulloa had not scored that penalty... i might have had a hint of despair.... we had our 20+ goal striker sent off for being tugged back and tangling his legs FFS, played without him for majority of 2nd half, withstood West Ham pressure until referee decides to arbitrarily give a penalty and then through our own mistakes go down to a very good goal....only to comeback in the 94th minute and score a penalty to level it up.

So despite playing a very good team with 10 men and a crazy referee who gave the majority of decision against us - we drew the game. an important point no doubt, which alllow us two draws two wins.

We are 5 points clear - Our players are sky high after the last minute... They tried to give us the bloody nose souness was talking about.... they tried to tell us we are a two man team..... they tried to say we play long ball and can't keep winning 1-0............ The fans, the players, WE will have the chance to respond to all this BS, this week..... The lads will be well up for it - did you see how the team including guys like wasyl celebrated with Ulloa.

I don't even see this as must win, as long as we don't lose - we are in the driving seat. This is a job for people like Ulloa - he showed his strength there.... he hasn't got pace no.... but he will along with the any of the others who play will do it  for us when it matters. For a club that uses the slogan Foxes never Quit and use a hashtag #FEARLESS - i'm sensing an awful lot of fear here. It's exactly what the players don't want to sense.... they want us behind them, Beleiving in them - even if we are 1-0 down with two minutes left to play we can still win it.

There is fear here because it means so much for all of us.  I am living, dreaming and breathing it at the moment.  Since Sunday afternoon, it's been even more unbearable.

Of course I desperately hope the team don't share my fear, or my sleepless nights but, just because some of us are nervous, fearful, naturally pessimistic etc., it doesn't make us any worse fans than the rest of you, it simply means our make-up is different from yours.

I think every one of us wants this more than anything else in the world (almost literally!!) at the moment, so let's just stick together as fans regardless of whether we have different views/outlooks/opinions or anything else.

I think we'll both win next week and we'll both draw the week after.

Meaning if we beat Everton at home we'll win the league.

look, i'm sure what is happening this season will be a very rare thing (although i personally beleive this team can play well in the CL and acheive things like QF) perhaps once in a lifetime. I also in no way think if a supporter has fear and another he/she is a better supporter than the other. But what would be a problem is if the fear was transmitted to the players in the stadium or on the streets.

We need to lose that mentality of this is Leicester, it's bound to go wrong. This team is different. if anything, This season so far has proven that.

The example of Sunderland vs us last week. Not much between the teams, who knows what happens if Rodwell scored his chance? but a reason why we have gone on this amazing run, is the beleif the team and the fans have. Obviously the teams beleif is what really matters, sunderland lacked that beleif against us. We don't want doubts to set in, and be transmitted into the stadium  as the players themselves will start doubting themselves, making mistakes, fluffing chances.... look how the mighty Barcelona were missing chance after chance.... doubts have entered...

Now i can understand some nerves, or fears from the fans...especially if we had lost.... it would be that blip everyone is waiting for....that bloody nose so many stuck up pundits want us to have.... But there's no need to go down that downward spiral of fear. Be positive, we've lost 3 games all season, we've beaten some of the most expensive teams ever gathered, CL semi finalist no less, we've beaten the champions.... we are 5 points clear with only 4 to play.

Spurs and others are sitting at home hoping we are scared and start having panic attacks, they hope that we start beleiving we are only a one man team, lose him and that's it, they want us to be scared of how they ferocious animals relentlessly chasing/hunting us down. None of that matters, just show the same beleif we have all season.

Thankfully ranieri will do that for the players. The fans need to be as strong as ever too.

For people saying 'our season is falling apart', I don't know what your talking about.

Our past 6 games - 5 wins and 1 draw. That is fantastic form.

We have always slated people saying we're a 2 man team (Vardy and Mahrez), so is now not our chance to show then otherwise? I understand why everyone is so worried, but if Tottenham drop ANY points then all we need to do is win our home games, if they do not then just win 2 and draw 2 / win 3. We have lost 3 all season, and 1 in the final 9 games of last season. Think about that.

For that reason, I am not panicking yet. Just do the business against Swansea and put pressure on spurs!

Exactly. All they they have to do is drop points at Stamford Bridge then we just have to beat Swansea and Everton at home. Obviously it's doesn't work so easily, but when you put it like that we're on a great position.

See this indicates the problem though.

You are counting on things that are out of our control such as Totemham drawing rather than just focussing on how we do.  That is the big change and result of Jon Moss taking away our 3 points and getting Vardy banned for the next couple games.  So the pressure is starting to get to you when you start hoping for what Totehham do.  It's also an indication that many people don't believe we can win the next 3 out of 4 which is a big change from before West Ham.

What's wrong with people.......THIS.....please go away and when you come back have something positive to say.

It's always been in our own hands, we win the points we need we get the title simple as that who gives a **** what spurs or anyone else does, its about us and always has been. It's up to us to finish this.

This is the right attitude.  Anyone who is paying attention to Spurs results is letting the pressure get to them.

Without Vardy things will be much more difficult, but I believe we can cope.

It's the goal difference that slightly concerns me. If we finish level on points, then Spurs would be champions. Think of it that way, and we have a four point lead in reality, surely.

Keep going lads.

Had a nightmare last night that Huth got arrested and was no longer able to play for the run in.  I woke up in a cold sweat.  I am pretty sure this level of obsession and worry is not healthy.
