dormelcfc Posted 20 April 2016 Posted 20 April 2016 Honestly finding it so difficult to pick this year. My goal is Vardy's vs Liverpool but beyond that, I really don't know. For POTY it could go to any one of Mahrez, Vardy, Kante, Morgan or Drinkwater and I wouldn't complain. Also, the YPOTY is just as a hard because none of them really had too much of a consistent impact this year.
DB11 Posted 20 April 2016 Posted 20 April 2016 Vardy vs. Liverpool for goal of the year Mahrez for player of the year Young player of the year can only really be Schlupp, only cos the rest aren't even close. He's not exactly excelled
Number 6 Posted 20 April 2016 Posted 20 April 2016 POTY: Kanté YPOTY: Schlupp Goal: Vardy vs Liverpool Can people outside UK vote on it? Might sway the POTY cote in Riyad's favour.
ScouseFox Posted 20 April 2016 Posted 20 April 2016 Who won 2005-08? That must be grim reading. tiatto, hume, stearman, howard, hobbs and wellens all won it in the glory years.
Shelf Side Spurs Posted 21 April 2016 Posted 21 April 2016 Not sure if I'm eligible to vote but if I am: Young player - Chilwell (not sure how many games he's played, Gray is also a great prospect, If Schmeichel was young enough then it would be him, otherwise Schlupp) Goal: Has to be Vardy vs Liverpool - brilliant (in terms of importance it would be Huth header against us?) Player: Kante (Vardy and Mahrez have claimed a lot of the headlines and won games for you, so it could equally be either of these, Drinkwater has had a great season as have your back three - Morgan, Huth and Schmeichel, but Kante is the engine in your team and the other 10 seem almost reliant on him to make everything work for everyone else?)

Aus Fox Posted 21 April 2016 Posted 21 April 2016 Young Player: Joe Dodoo- more first team goals than Schluup and Gray combined. Breaking into the first team and 4 games 4 goals. Player: Kante for me is the difference between us having a decent season and finishing 8th and challenging for the league. The amount he has saved us breaking up play and starting a counter attack. Hero. Goal: Mahrez v Chelsea was a sublime bit of skill, one of my favourite Leicester goals ever Closely followed by Mahrez v Man City.

Dodoo definitely best young player. Has done phenomenally well and in any other season might have got a bit more attention. That Mahrez goal was incredible he turned Azpilicueta inside out about three times. Beautiful. I voted for Vardy Liverpool though as thing it was more significant and helped us on the way to the wins at Man C and the Hotspurs. Goes without saying Kante got my vote for POTY...
Jakemoore Posted 21 April 2016 Posted 21 April 2016 Young player - Gray purely because schlupp has been injured fit a lot of the season. Goal of the season - Vardy v Liverpool. Play of the season - it honestly could be 9/10 players but I've gone with Kante because unlike Vardy and Mahrez his form has never dipped.
gdl9050 Posted 21 April 2016 Posted 21 April 2016 Tbh I think voting for schlupp as young player is wrong. He's been injured for the vast majority and he doesn't see himself as a young player anymore I imagine. I voted for Chilwell. He hasn't play a lot I know but for such a young player has been impressive and had a great loan spell too. Got to be Chilwell
Smiffy Fox Posted 21 April 2016 Posted 21 April 2016 Apparent PFA Team of the year just been leaked on Twitter, Morgan, Kante, Mahrez and Vardy all in.
Harry96 Posted 21 April 2016 Posted 21 April 2016 Pretty much bang on apart from maybe ozil in for payet and Fuchs over rose maybe .
sdb Posted 21 April 2016 Posted 21 April 2016 tiatto, hume, stearman, howard, hobbs and wellens all won it in the glory years. Good knowledge/research. Now I know why I repressed them.
MagicMahrez Posted 21 April 2016 Posted 21 April 2016 Young: Chilwell?? Tough one Goal: Vardy vs liverpool Player: Magic Riyad...
kushiro Posted 21 April 2016 Posted 21 April 2016 Check out this great Jamie Vardy article at Bleacher Report - ble.ac/WhoIsJamieVardy That is so good. The bit at the end really got to me - 'he's just a man itching to get out and play football'. Just imagine how cut up he'll be to miss the game of his life at Old Trafford.
shen Posted 21 April 2016 Posted 21 April 2016 YPOTS: Dodoo if available. Great debut. Otherwise Schlupp. POTS: Vardy. Just. It's tough to single out when our performances are down to team work and many individuals excelling. Mahrez is the most skillful player I've seen for Leicester, Kanté is just unique and one of the best central midfielders I've ever seen for any team. Vardy is the fairytale story though and is the focal point of the team. GOTS: King vs WBA. Firstly, that outrageous flick from Mahrez, Secondly the cross from Albrighton that's been a trademark and a catalyst for many goals. Thirdly, our longest-serving player who's been the perfect squad player finishes with aplomb. Highlights what this season has been all about for us. Team work, quick play, skill, and incision.
