Vardinio'sCat Posted 25 April 2016 Posted 25 April 2016 #LCFC uniting us all #backingtheblues #mandir Catherine Street Hindu Mandir tonight! Â Nice touch...
WigstonWanderer Posted 25 April 2016 Posted 25 April 2016 How fantastic to see them playing with the sort of relaxed dominance (particularly in the second half) that they did earlier on in the season. Will Vardy get back in the team?
WigstonWanderer Posted 25 April 2016 Posted 25 April 2016 Every bit as as good as any of the recent Spurs performances that everyone has been going on about!
The Year Of The Fox Posted 25 April 2016 Posted 25 April 2016 Has anybody else pointed out that Nuge was sitting in Vardy's exec box? Legend! I travelled back from Edinburgh yesterday morning and swore blind he shot past me down the a1 in a 4x4 of sorts. Seeing he was at the game all but confirmed it was him
TrentFox Posted 25 April 2016 Posted 25 April 2016 Just starting to sober up. Stunning day. Atmosphere pre kick-off was simply outstanding. Schlupp caused havoc on left. Imagine if he'd had Vardy's pace to dump the ball off to after some of those runs?! Ulloa was fabulous. Oka gave it all he has. DD and NK are god-like in the middle and back 5 immense. What a truly memorable day. Right up there with QPR, last game of season last year, as one of my most enjoyable home games ever. My heart-rate today is acceptable.

WigstonWanderer Posted 25 April 2016 Posted 25 April 2016 Who's the guy with the grey hair on the left? Thought it was Lineker when I first caught a glimpse.
catfordfox Posted 25 April 2016 Posted 25 April 2016 Who's the guy with the grey hair on the left? Thought it was Lineker when I first caught a glimpse. It's his evil brother isn't it?
TrentFox Posted 25 April 2016 Posted 25 April 2016 Small point - and I know this ship has already sailed - but what a contrast between an average ref last week and the top one this week. Chalk and cheese. Clat's just doesn't go around dishing out yellows for nothing tackles and then putting himself under huge pressure. Moss does. Whether you like Clat or not, he is probably the most consistent ref in the league. Both teams were crystal clear on how he was running the game. It can't be that hard to share that with the rest, can it??

Bayfox Posted 25 April 2016 Posted 25 April 2016 Does anyone know the lyrics for the song : Leicester boys are here We're gonna win the league I know the first and last line but don't know what everyone is saying in between   It's Leicester Boys are We!!  Leicester Boys are we. Proud of our city through good times and the bad, we always back the lads and we're gonna win the league.  I believe  But i'm sure someone in UFS can correct me if I'm wrong.
Bayfox Posted 25 April 2016 Posted 25 April 2016 What a performance, a proper fingers up to the pundits who thought we may struggle without vardy, really showed we can rock up at old trafford next week and give them a game as well. If we didn't already believe that. Â real team performance again, Fullbacks outstanding again defensively, huth just dominated everything, he's like a rock that just doesn't move, then old wes (bobby moore) goes of on his little meanders to the half way line, drinky and kante, not bothered one bit by the opposition midfield, schlupp proved me wrong, leo just does his job, brilliant. Â clever from claudio and gray, oh we may just have done it again with that lad, can see why we just got in and got it done in jan, another 6 months of him in the championship and the bids would have been above that release fee no shadow of a doubt. Â Oh and a pat on the back to the fans again, Superb. Roll on OT.
st albans fox Posted 25 April 2016 Posted 25 April 2016 To be fair to Leo, his touch seems to be much better than earlier in the season. He took a KS goal kick down by the touch line sublimely. Would like to see him get that chance against yanited with the confidence he now has.

He was up with Jeff when he put the ball across for Leo. moss would have been chugging across the half way line.
LJS Posted 25 April 2016 Posted 25 April 2016 The great thing about Clattenburg is his communication. Whatever anybody might think about a given decision he knows why he's making them and he explains to the players why he's blowing up. Can't fault that approach.
Bazly Posted 25 April 2016 Posted 25 April 2016 I'm delighted the manager went with my recommended squad changes from the pre-match thread. The alternative setup worked well as I figured it would with Schlupp as physical pacey winger, replacing the more fragile Albrighton. Looks like Schlupp and Demarai Gray Could be a good wing combination should Mahrez depart from greener grass this summer. I'm looking forward to next Sunday, has the makings of an enthralling contest and I'd stick with Schlupp in the starting line up as Albrighton has been tiring earlier in recent games and would benefit from a bit of a rest.

It can't be that hard to share that with the rest, can it?? Â Â Exactly my own thoughts. Up with play, quick but considered, not over-padantic or dramatic he was a complete contrast to Moss and, as such, commanded the respect which helped ensure a smooth game. Not that Swansea looked anything like as physically committed as West Ham but, even if they had been, Clattenburg gave the impression he'd have calmed most any situation in an instant. Some refs make it relatively easy for themselves, others invite trouble and there's no doubt to me that Clattenburg gave a far better illustration of how the job should be done. Controlled but ruthless performance by City, just what was needed and, once again, a good selection of decent individual efforts within a top collective effort. Special congratulations to Ulloa who emphasised again how useful a striker he is, to Mahrez for making the vital opening goal look so easily despatched. Also to Schlupp and Gray for making a specific impact when it was called for. Altogether another focused and relentless effort which offered not a glimmer of encouragement to the chasing Tottenham. MOM? Ulloa, no question. Loved the chant: "Four-nil to the one-man team". Nothing could have been more fitting.Â
WigstonWanderer Posted 25 April 2016 Posted 25 April 2016 It's his evil brother isn't it?Ha, thanks, now I've read through the thread I can see my question has been answered several times.Explains the resemblance.
Carl the Llama Posted 25 April 2016 Posted 25 April 2016 Looks like Gary got stuck in a teleportation device with Sylvester Stallone.
