Countryfox Posted 24 April 2016 Posted 24 April 2016 Gary and Wayne for the next Jekyll and Hyde film .... What do you reckon ??
kingfox Posted 24 April 2016 Posted 24 April 2016 Pundits mentioned nerves beforehand, but that was probably our most comfortable performance of the season. After that second goal went in I felt at ease, it was a stroll in the park after that. Great team performance, some played better than others but they all deserve 10/10 after that. Roll on United
Bluetintedspecs Posted 24 April 2016 Posted 24 April 2016 Now that's what we fookin needed! Just immense players and fans alike! Almost there, chaaaaaaaaaaarge
49er Posted 24 April 2016 Posted 24 April 2016 Spurs fans just don't get it do they, for once a side who hasn't spent absolutely mega millions (like them) could be on the brink of something special, with the amount they've spent, they should be playing better football, but most of the public are rooting for us because not everyone supports your Arsenal's and Man City's, it gives other clubs hope that they can compete at the very top, without having to spend £30m on a single player. They probably never will understand, they've never been in the positions clubs like us, Southampton, Stoke, Norwich and such have been in, but for all those types of clubs this could offer a lot of hope, lets just hope we can see it through. When When did they last win the league - early 1960s. Perhaps they are not such a big club as they think
sly1 Posted 24 April 2016 Posted 24 April 2016 It's ours game of champions .outstanding today, fantastic referee up the city
MiniFox Posted 24 April 2016 Posted 24 April 2016 When did they last win the league - early 1960s. Perhaps they are not such a big club as they think Yeah I guess, but I think to most people Spurs are still one of the big clubs, not as big as the other usual top 6 or so, but big in comparison to other sides in the Prem.
pazzerfox Posted 24 April 2016 Posted 24 April 2016 Clattenburg gets 10/10 for me, that's what a proper referee is. Take a bow Mark Clattenburg. It was like chalk and cheese from last week.
melrose Posted 24 April 2016 Posted 24 April 2016 Didn't know Paul Hollywood was a Leicester fan Is it Wayne Lineker?
Rushden fox Posted 24 April 2016 Posted 24 April 2016 Can't wait to hear what Paul merson says next week after his rant on soccer Saturday yesterday.
ARM1968 Posted 24 April 2016 Posted 24 April 2016 Mersin is a funny man. Have to say though that today was a masterclass in how to ref a match. Clattenberg was utterly invisible. Perfect from him and pretty close to it from us. Moss needs to watch a video of this to see how it's done correctly.
LestaAl Posted 24 April 2016 Posted 24 April 2016 Am going to miss... .. We're all going on a European tour... For the next six days COYB
limeydale Posted 24 April 2016 Posted 24 April 2016 Beautiful stuff!!!!!!!!!! The rational side of my brain said we should win this one, but with the negativity and pressure heaped on us by the circumstances of last week and Pochettino and his gang and (followers) making no bones about the fact that they were praying for our downfall, my anxiety was through the roof... However, something that struck me was that, one thing we have that previous teams who were in the lead, (only to fall at the final hurdle) did not is the want and desire to step up when things get tough. The "big" clubs have that diva mentality, happier to point fingers and blame others rather than dig in and will things back into their own hands. I think that's what will win us the title more than anything... I am utterly grateful to Claudio and the Lads!! Unbelievable.... Foxes we will rise!!!!!!
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 24 April 2016 Posted 24 April 2016 That scoreline will give the lads renewed confidence. Now for the kill.! What a guy!
Clever Fox Posted 24 April 2016 Posted 24 April 2016 Brilliant all round performance. Schlupp was excellent with his running making himself available to receive the Ball. Mahrez was back to his best and provided some great covering play to help out Simpson at times. What I liked best was the assured way they went about it today unlike last weeks edgy performance.
Harry - LCFC Posted 24 April 2016 Posted 24 April 2016 Any news on Ulloa? Looked hurt when he came off
FoxesDeb Posted 24 April 2016 Posted 24 April 2016 Probably been said already but MOTM for me was Mark Clattenburg. How refereeing should be done.
Great Boos Up Posted 24 April 2016 Posted 24 April 2016 I was expecting a long deep baird from you; but you said it all man.
narboroughblue Posted 24 April 2016 Posted 24 April 2016 Great result and back to a classic soak up the pressure performance but with plenty of quality going forwards. At times we really missed Vardy for an outlet to relieve the pressure but Ulloa and Schlupp coming in did brilliantly. Another huge effort needed next Sunday now. Until then enjoy the PFA awards guys, it's all well deserved.
Raw Dykes Posted 24 April 2016 Posted 24 April 2016 Any news on Ulloa? Looked hurt when he came off He was asked about it in the post-match interview on NBC, but I couldn't really work out what he said. He didn't seem too worried. I think he's probably alright.
Mythyaar Posted 24 April 2016 Posted 24 April 2016 Fabulous atmosphere from start to finish up there with the best of them. "European Tour" and "4-0 to the one man team" belting out at the end. Stuff of dreams!!
Izzy Posted 24 April 2016 Posted 24 April 2016 Today was really just about as good as it gets for me. One of the most complete and emphatic team displays I've seen in a long time. The stuff of champions who never once looked like they were panicking or under pressure. Everyone played their part and we absolutely sensational at times. You can just feel the togetherness and spirit in the camp. We're an unstoppable force of nature at the moment.
