Away end v Everton

Recommended Posts

Managed to get a hold of two tickets for tomorrow in there end. Over face value unfortunately just got to see if the bloke comes good on the day. Here's to hoping!

Same here.

I'd suggest holding his had as you go through the turnstiles to make sure you get in!!!!

Not to put a damper on anything but I do know personally of someone who got ripped off.. fortunately only 150 quid and not several hundreds.. but sadly lots of unscrupulous folk out there.. good luck to everyone who hopes to get their ticket tomorrow.

It's a shame that in an era where fans hold banners up in their grounds about over inflated ticket prices that that's exactly what fans of other teams demand from fellow football fans of other clubs. Stinks of hypocrisy but sadly the way it is :/

Counterfeit or just no tickets sent?

He's not going in mate, literally travelling down to sell us the tickets. Luckily his agreed to meet us outside the stadium so one of us will check the ticket works etc

anoyone know if its electronic in the away end, been offered a u22 ticket

Guessing so mines got a barcode on it same as a home ticket. Word of warning though there is a lot of disgruntled Everton fans on their forum who are not happy with the amount of city fans in their end so need to be respectful and on best behaviour.

Totally agree...Toffees drinking for 3-4 hours...very hot sunny day..VERY disgruntled with Martinez...mixed in with celebrating opposition fans inTHEIR end...could be a recipe for a bout of fisticuffs as an excuse to vent their spleen...

as they used to say in the series "Hill Street Blues" ( all you old buggers will remember that New York cop series) ...

LETS BE CAREFUL OUT THERE !!!

Hi Col, haven't forgotten our away trips for next season!

The actor who said that line actually died in real life during the series! One of my favourite series with pizza man and Hitler!

Anyway back to the present, I have only missed half dozen games this season, only one at home to Arsenal, my 40th anniversary so was hoping we would be away in London, but unfortunately we were at home. However, tomorrow I have given my season ticket to my mum, aged 88 who says she fancies going! She did work at the club in the 70/80's. Number 3 son has given his seat to his mum, (my missus), so the two of us are watching in a local pub, unless we can buy a couple of tickets in the away end. You always have to look after your Mum, don't you.

EVERTON FAN.

I myself will be at the ground on Saturday and like most of the league i'll be happy to see you lift the trophy but with what is going on with Martinez at the moment the Everton atmosphere for some may be wound up not by you guys but our own teams performance this year... I cant see there being any trouble from our fans but obviously it'd be a good idea to not be up celebrating in our end in peoples faces whilst the game is on as it may just cause trouble from a bunch of pissed up boys and you'll only end up being ejected and missing the trophy lifted. After the game I believe a lot of our end will empty as being a late kick off people will need to be getting out for travel arrangements and also to beat the rush of fans as yours will still be in the ground. I'm weighing up at the time if I can stay to watch you lift it or not tbh it'd be good to see it and there is no way the away end will be escorted out straight after the game as we have paid our money too so have the right to see it and if not we can just protest like we did in our ground to get Martinez out last week haha ;).

There are a lot of people selling tickets and asking for the likes of around £300 seems a lot but most have planned the day out and transports etc so you guys will get 1 if you where looking to pay over the odds. will be plenty available and most will meet you on the day.

Anyway Congrats!

I'll be honest. Why are any Everton fans coming to this game? You're taking up tickets that Leicester fans would kill for when this game is meaningless for you. Really annoying that you are saying you are undecided if you'll stay for the trophy presentation. Not that it means anything to you. Everton should have returned their full allocation in my view.

Sunbury fox really? I'm guessing you don't travel to away games much there 10 times better than home games, get to travel the country for a day out and We sell out all of our away games pal these tickets where bought almost a month ago with transport costs too! And at that time the league was much tighter.. you only won the league on monday so what do you think Everton would just give the allocation back and the fans just give up all travel+ tickets that they've paid for and the day they've planned...

I genuinely feel for the Leicester fans as winning the league may be a 1 off time or might not happen for along time again who knows..

Out of order mate, some people like to support their club and enjoy an away day irregardless of the meaning of the match.

Very disrespectful. They have every right to be there. I'm one of those who'll be in the Everton section but it's us that are in the wrong really. Normally wouldn't consider doing it but this is probably a once in a lifetime event so I'm willing to bite my lip, sit on my hands for 90 minutes and respect the rights of the Everton fans to enjoy the game.

If it was the other way round I wouldn't be giving my ticket as I'm a supporter and a fan. A fanatic when it comes to leicester and will watch leicester whether it at the top of the league to collect the trophy or when there is nothing to play for. Or rainy nights in the arse end of no where. Every Everton fan that managed to get a ticket deserves to be there as much as any leicester fan.

Give up there full allocation? If LCFC did that for any away day there would be uproar and rightly so. All them Everton fans that planned their day down here? Booked hotels? booked days off work? All cancelled because we won the league. Don't think so mate.

Is there a best tactic to buying a ticket? Are people just transferring money on a promise of posting?

I told him to be very wary hence hes meeting him in person.

Personally I'd never transfer money on the promise of a ticket
