Would depend if we keep hold of Benny and Was of course otherwise not worth having him. Thoughts? Have we actually been linked, if so please provide the link, or is this just someone you'd like us to sign? In which case this belongs in the 'who do you want' thread.

Barcelona to Chelsea to Leicester in a short amount of time, i highly doubt he would choose that career path. I think that's a bit naive really. His career path currently will want him playing in the Champions league, and we are. He's not getting that at Chelsea. He's not moving to Arsenal. He may want to stay in England and were close enough for a commute. And he'd be a garaunteed starter in a team that plays attacking football. I wonder what your transfer targets would be.

I wanted the young Ivorian defender from Villareal but apparently that was a miscalculation on my part to think we could get a good young player who is highly rated by top clubs.

Kovacic is a good shout., but speaking of career paths etc. Chelsea to LCFC or Madrid to LCFC, isn't that worse? 22 years old, no game time, supremely talented. Can always make a move later, Pedro is at the later stage of his career. Two moves in quick succession to clubs of perceived lower prestige; can't be good for perceived value and thus is earning power over the remainder of his career. But what do I know, its all speculation anyways.

It'd take a whole lotta dough to lure him away from Upton Park... err, the Olympic Stadium with his current West Ham contract running up until 2021.
