Gerard Posted 8 June 2016 Posted 8 June 2016 Strange, we offered £15m in January which was turned down and then we're not interested at £11.5m now.
Gerard Posted 8 June 2016 Posted 8 June 2016 Genuinely think all European clubs add 25% to what they want just because of the crazy tv money in England. Dragovic is a better player than Bailly and cost 20m less because it was United! Maybe that is right but I'd be surprised if they accepted £11.5m without coming back to us telling us they would accept our £15m if we were still interested? True, it does make you wonder how true any of these newspaper type rumours are. Were we ever genuinley interested?
Guest CityFan 06 Posted 8 June 2016 Posted 8 June 2016 Fegouhli and Ben Arfa both available on frees? Ben Arfa's a decent player isn't he? Would potentially be a good addition to the squad.
Steven Posted 8 June 2016 Posted 8 June 2016 Ben Arfa's a decent player isn't he? Would potentially be a good addition to the squad. Aim higher.
mozartfox Posted 8 June 2016 Posted 8 June 2016 Surprised theres been no more talk about Dragovic. Any shed any light on if we're still interested? Definitely think we need a top class centre back for next season. Varane anyone? Dragovic reported in local press here as signing for Rudi 'Full of shite' Voller's mob- Bayer Lederhosen. Shame as would have been a good signing. Blame Fuchs! Surprised theres been no more talk about Dragovic. Any shed any light on if we're still interested? Vindaloo FOX Posted 8 June 2016 Posted 8 June 2016 this lad is on his way to Benfica for £9 million, would have loved him here .
Mezeker Posted 9 June 2016 Posted 9 June 2016 Gabriel Barbosa scored just scored vs Haiti. Yea its Haiti but this guy's movement and finishing are a thing of beauty.
ScouseFox Posted 9 June 2016 Posted 9 June 2016 Gabriel Barbosa scored just scored vs Haiti. Yea its Haiti but this guy's movement and finishing are a thing of beauty. he's missed two one on ones and tried and failed to square another. hardly say it's a masterclass. his two misses weren't even close to going in either.
Guest Col city fan Posted 9 June 2016 Posted 9 June 2016 Defoe is an enigma. He'd basically finished his career when he went to Toronto or somewhere? But he's kept himself fit and looks to be the sniffer in the penalty area he always was.. surprising to be honest, I thought he'd given up really. Whether he's got anymore in his tank remains to be seen but I can't see him leave Sunderland now..or should I say Allardyce. I guess he'll want to repay his faith in him.

MC Prussian Posted 9 June 2016 Posted 9 June 2016 Ok, Daniel Agger is off limits now - he's just announced his retirement at age 31. http://www.bbc.com/sport/football/36488982
Grantham Fox Posted 9 June 2016 Posted 9 June 2016 Apparently Watford want Roberto Pererya (sp?) off Juventus for 10m euros on sky sports. Looks like a good player, only 23/24 and for that price would be a good bit of business you'd imagine.
MC Prussian Posted 9 June 2016 Posted 9 June 2016 Breel Embolo's sportive future has suddenly taken a turn... for the worse: His agent is seemingly in talks with Manchester United. http://metro.co.uk/2016/06/09/manchester-united-in-shock-talks-to-sign-basel-forward-breel-embolo-5933970/ I thought the Bundesliga was a better option for him.

ronnup Posted 9 June 2016 Posted 9 June 2016 Pedro. All day long. Versatile forward and works hard. Has been totally wasted at Chelsea. He's got masses of talent and would slot in as a replacement for Vardy or even better, in behind him.
Mezeker Posted 9 June 2016 Posted 9 June 2016 http://www.goal.com/en/news/11/transfer-zone/2016/06/07/24369652/kovacic-rules-out-inter-return-under-manciniKovacic is available. He does not get a lot of minutes at Real Madrid. I would even take him on loan, or buy him with a buy back clause. I have not been so impressed in a young player in a very long time. His movement off the ball is amazing, he always makes himself available creating so many different passing angles. His one touch passing, flair is high. He often turns and tries to drive the team forward while having a good work rate and is relatively strong in the tackle. I firmly believe that this is the type of signing that could take us to the next level. If he is on the precipice of a break out year, really just needs the minutes. I would bet big money on him being young player of the year if he were to sign for us, he could also be signed for abotu 20 mil; well within out budget. http://www.calciomercato.com/en/news/exclusive-juventus-and-real-negotiate-over-kovacic-886173

Barcelona to Chelsea to Leicester in a short amount of time, i highly doubt he would choose that career path.
jayfox26 Posted 10 June 2016 Posted 10 June 2016 Gabriel Barbosa scored just scored vs Haiti. Yea its Haiti but this guy's movement and finishing are a thing of beauty. He's a beast on football manager so he must be good
Mezeker Posted 10 June 2016 Posted 10 June 2016 He's a beast on football manager so he must be good only 165 potential though
foxes21 Posted 10 June 2016 Posted 10 June 2016 @Mezerker thinking about it, could Kovacic be the perfect replacement for Kante?!?! He has the same attacking attributes as Kante & we can help develop him defensively . He's just as fast, arguably a superior dribbler, the only thing Kante is superior in to Kovacic is his defensive game which we can improve!
Hitesh Posted 10 June 2016 Posted 10 June 2016 Kolo Toure Being released by Liverpool, I think he would add some valuable Champions League experience and don't think he'd get many games but would add a lot of value I reckon. Would depend if we keep hold of Benny and Was of course otherwise not worth having him. Thoughts?
