yorkie1999 Posted 7 June 2016 Posted 7 June 2016 Walcott, he's done the money thing, now come and play football.
Mezeker Posted 7 June 2016 Posted 7 June 2016 They talking about Townsend to CP for 10.5 mil. We better match that. That's value if I have ever seen it.
foxes21 Posted 7 June 2016 Posted 7 June 2016 Looks like Dragovic is off to Leverkusen. Hope we avoid them in the group stages, they have a very strong team & signed a few good players already this season. https://twitter.com/SkySportAustria/status/740194392020029441
fox_favourite Posted 7 June 2016 Posted 7 June 2016 I'm starting to think Defoe may be a good option. He scored 15 goals for a poor Sunderland side, who wouldn't have survived without him. I know he's getting on a but, but as a backup for the prem he would do the business. I also think his work rate will fit in with our team. I'm starting to think Defoe may be a good option. Bluearmyfox28 Posted 8 June 2016 Posted 8 June 2016 Sissoko has said he wants to leave Newcastle. Offers something completely different to what we currently have in the middle of the park & is a cheaper alternative to N'Zonzi if the board were to pursue with him. foxfanazer Posted 8 June 2016 Posted 8 June 2016 Surprised theres been no more talk about Dragovic. Any shed any light on if we're still interested? Definitely think we need a top class centre back for next season. Varane anyone?
yorkie1999 Posted 8 June 2016 Posted 8 June 2016 Arsene Wenger. Quality manager who would bring the players in that we've already got!
eddylcfc Posted 8 June 2016 Posted 8 June 2016 Fabio Coentrao would be a perfect option to give us extra bulk at LB... CL experience too.
MC Prussian Posted 8 June 2016 Posted 8 June 2016 Surprised theres been no more talk about Dragovic. Any shed any light on if we're still interested? Definitely think we need a top class centre back for next season. Varane anyone? Laporte= injured Mathieu=injured de Vrij=injured Matip=going Liverpool Marc Bartra=going Dortmund Bernardo Espinosa=injured So here's a few suggestions - some more ambitious than others: Kostas Manolas (Roma) Kamil Glik (Torino) Aïssa Mandi (Reims) (available on the cheap!) Ashley Williams (can chase after Mahrez in training sessions) Victor Ruiz (Villarreal) Ömer Toprak (Leverkusen) Paulo Oliveira (Sporting) Bruno Martins Indi (Porto) Daniel Agger (Brøndby; available on a free; somewhat injury-prone and I'm not sure whether he's willing to leave Denmark) Samuel Umtiti (Lyon) Philippe Mexès (Milan; available on a free) Lisandro Lopez (Benfica) Papy Djilobodji (Chelsea; had a terrific loan stint at Werder Bremen last season) Niklas Süle (Hoffenheim; beast!) Fabian Schär (Hoffenheim) Thomas Heurtaux (Udinese)

foxes21 Posted 8 June 2016 Posted 8 June 2016 hope we sign Hernandez CB buddy Bernardo Espinosa from sporting gijon. he's available for free too.
Max Power Posted 8 June 2016 Posted 8 June 2016 Surprised theres been no more talk about Dragovic. Any shed any light on if we're still interested? Definitely think we need a top class centre back for next season. Varane anyone? Gone to Leverkusen. £11.5m

MC Prussian Posted 8 June 2016 Posted 8 June 2016 hope we sign Hernandez CB buddy Bernardo Espinosa from sporting gijon. he's available for free too. Yes, but he's still suffering from the aftermath of a knee injury and won't be back for training up until August from what I read - which means we wouldn't be able to see him for a couple of weeks in addition to that.

Gerard Posted 8 June 2016 Posted 8 June 2016 Gone to Leverkusen. £11.5m Strange, we offered £15m in January which was turned down and then we're not interested at £11.5m now.
dpjfox Posted 8 June 2016 Posted 8 June 2016 Hamil Glik Ahmed Musa Namphys Mendy Lemina Hakin Crychech
Dan Posted 8 June 2016 Posted 8 June 2016 Reiterate again if Mahrez goes we must sign Yarmolenko. Similar style of player.
Fox 4 Life Posted 8 June 2016 Posted 8 June 2016 Strange, we offered £15m in January which was turned down and then we're not interested at £11.5m now. Genuinely think all European clubs add 25% to what they want just because of the crazy tv money in England. Dragovic is a better player than Bailly and cost 20m less because it was United!
Bluearmyfox28 Posted 8 June 2016 Posted 8 June 2016 I'd add Thomas Vermaelen to that list I raise you Jonathan Tah...
MC Prussian Posted 8 June 2016 Posted 8 June 2016 Mexes on a free? All day long, surely. How old is he now? He's 34, but in mint condition (again). However, I have a feeling he's a "walking red card". Reminds me of Wasilewski in many ways. A typical no-nonsense defender, but with plenty of experience.
