Benguin Posted 7 May 2016 Posted 7 May 2016 They're going for £20 on eBay!!! Wow. I'm sat here trying to decide whether to eat mine and pin the pack up or sell them!
AKCJ Posted 7 May 2016 Posted 7 May 2016 They're going for £20 on eBay!!! Wow. I'm sat here trying to decide whether to eat mine and pin the pack up or sell them! I don't know your financial season but surely you want to keep them? 20 quid isn't worth it for a great memento you picked up on the day Leicester were crowned champions of england.

Probably not going to but my clacker is the memento, the crisps will go off, I dread to think what state my Vardy salted are in beneath the seal.
Larry_LCFC Posted 7 May 2016 Posted 7 May 2016 Why does everyone always have to try and make a fast buck with everything. The people buying 10 programmes and bunging them on eBay, people selling their tickets for a grand and now selling a free bag of crisps. Eat the crisps with a smile on your face and treasure the bag. You'll probably never see anything like it again. Way more to life than money!
Rincewind Posted 7 May 2016 Posted 7 May 2016 Someone in the pub said she went to the KP at 10am for a programme. She said she was told that only 14000 were printed. They sold out. As for the crisps my first instinct would be to eat them but knowing how mad people are these days it may be worth hanging on to them. But as in this sort of thing the price will only be high for a short while if too many have the same idea to make a fast buck.
Benguin Posted 7 May 2016 Author Posted 7 May 2016 Don't fear, the fatty in me made me eat them. Going to keep the packet
Christoph Posted 8 May 2016 Posted 8 May 2016 I ate mine a fit of drunken rage within the first minute of seeing them
Larry_LCFC Posted 8 May 2016 Posted 8 May 2016 I didn't even get nothing for free inside?Somebody probably nicked them then. Was in a plastic bag under your seat.
Trav Le Bleu Posted 8 May 2016 Posted 8 May 2016 Somebody probably nicked them then. Was in a plastic bag under your seat. I think it was a reference back to the days when sometime crisp packets would have things like pogs and tazos inside that used to choke unwary children. Now here's a thought... Walkers should release on sale commerorative crisps throughout the county (country? (world!?)) with tazos of individual players and the club shop could sell a book to mount them in - got to collect them all! - with a special rare one of Wes holding the PL trophy that you would swap for any three others!

Oh right I see I used to love the chance of winning cash in those little blue sachets.
Fox92 Posted 8 May 2016 Posted 8 May 2016 I eat mine at half time. The packet has now been flattened and will be sitting at the side of the Vardy edition.
Guest Mee-9 Posted 8 May 2016 Posted 8 May 2016 How hard up must you be to sell momentos of these precious days? Treasure it, open them on your deathbed, be it 20 years or in 50 years time. Taste the fact they'll be probably green, and remember the day.
Raj Posted 8 May 2016 Posted 8 May 2016 We as a family Sat down in the garden and I thought right this is it...time go open my 2 packets of Vardy Salted ones!!! Washed the bags out after and they'll be put away!!! These can wait til we win the charity shield!!!

Rincewind Posted 8 May 2016 Posted 8 May 2016 My sister bought me a bottle of LCFC beer from Spain a few years back. See my sig. If I drink that on my deathbed it may be the cause. Instead I'll have it with me in my coffin. Although is it safe to expose vintage ale and glass to heat? Nothing like going out with a bang.
everton carr Posted 9 May 2016 Posted 9 May 2016 They don't seem to be fetching the same kind of money as the Vardy salted ones of a few months ago which is a surprise
Guest Col city fan Posted 9 May 2016 Posted 9 May 2016 They don't seem to be fetching the same kind of money as the Vardy salted ones of a few months ago which is a surpriseGive it time. They willDid you get yours in a little clear bag, along with another couple of bits in the same bag? If so, keep it all together and don't open the crisps. If you got a white or blue flag, keep it..even if you got any of the bunting that got rocketed out at the celebration. .keep it.
David Hankey Posted 9 May 2016 Posted 9 May 2016 Ate mine at halftime, will refill and reseal the bag and hopefully get £100 plus in time
Guest Col city fan Posted 9 May 2016 Posted 9 May 2016 Ate mine at halftime, will refill and reseal the bag and hopefully get £100 plus in time Collectors are a fascinating breed. They want 'in original condition' at all costs. I've not even opened the bag that the programme came in, but kept it nicely sealed up. Unopened, like the day it was made brings the best offers. If you want to sell of course. Which I don't. My stuff will go to the grandkids if I get any.
kingcarr21 Posted 9 May 2016 Posted 9 May 2016 Ate my crisps and put the empty pack next to my vardy salted ones. Going to put them in a frame
