Islam Slimani

Your first sentence makes no logical sense in English. Try again.

You are utterly wrong with your third sentence. And your on an English forum of course we mean Stirling, either way we can afford it.

http://metro.co.uk/2016/01/27/everton-enter-transfer-talks-with-sporting-lisbon-over-islam-slimani-5647182/

There is that and several other articles if you bother to look, it's a buyout clause.

Educate me lol, I'd educate yourself on your own national team first.

Well i could put many links here about Islam and his price tag since he started playin for Sporting but you wouldn't understand because thry are written in arabic and French.

Your article is wrong when they talk about a buyout clause; it's not and it is dated regarding the amount...let me tell you also that Islam since has been linked by medias with Liverpool and MU.

Ludicrous and big headed to think that Islam would jump on a cheap offer just because of what lol..cheap and good that what LCFC is seeking.

Where did you get the idea that Leicester only want cheap players? We have actively been trying to sign Ousmane Dembele who was recently sold to Dortmund for 28 million, we must've had the intention to spend at least 25 million on a single player. We also bid around 20 million for Ahmed Musa in January. Hardly cheap. If we really wanted Slimani we would get him.

How is it dated is this year, regarding a contract signed in August 2015.

French is fine I can read enough French to understand the basics, find one that prices him over 25 million pounds.

Enjoy Madrid Slim

We won't get him with clubs like that going in and fair enough if not, he's a bit of a gamble anyway.

Although I wouldn't pay attention to that article as it quotes the 23 million pound release clause and our Algerian expert has informed us that's incorrect. And he knows everything,

It looks like every man and his dog is after Slimani. A move to use would be good because:

1) great foil for Vardy

2) more likely that Mahrez will stay (assuming they are mates)

3) we will get a quality striker

Hello

I am just wondering why my fellow Algerian insists on belitteling LCFC even so in an LCFC forum

LCFC finished above MUFC and Liverpol so yeah they can attract impressive players if the owners are willing to invest

Man city got decent players when they were nothing at all , LCFC are pl champions and CL first seed

investing roughly 70-90 millions on transfers this year would make LCFC a real top 4 contender for next year

I would say a top left winger (too bad dembele went to Dortmund), a second striker , a right back and a backup center back , of course keeping the Big 3 is important as well

as for Slimani he has a buyout clause , around 30m euros ( 23-25 m pounds )

I think a duo vardy-slimani would do wonders , they both press up front and have incredible work rate and of course they both have incredible finishing

Hope LCFC can build on this year to establish themselves as a top 6 contender each year which is achievable if the owners play it right and get the right players

to be fair he never said pounds, and the article says 30 mil euros. Your back and forth banter is quite entertaining.

Mahrez is 100% devoted to Algeria, he has said in so many interviews that he considers himself an Algerian who grew up in France not a French person with Algerian heritage. He dedicates his choice to play for the Algerian national squad to his late hero father. Can't believe people on here don't know that!

Maybe if he feels that way he should go and live in Algeria then ?  Can't be doing with anyone who settles or is born in a country that welcomed them considering it as a second home .

This poisonous attitude is perforating the US at the moment.

I Keep saying the same thing to my mum who lives and is settled in France... Identity is never that straight forward though.

Just an FYI, in Algeria, English is pretty much a fifth language. I'm sure I have to be the first Algerian here to be able to string a complete sentence, but I'm American as well.

Slimani would be excellent for Leicester, he presses well, fast, good finisher and he is good in the air.

Why are you always so aggressive towards posters you disagree with.

State your feelings and move on.

Weird thing to say. I guess you've never lived outside of Wigston?

I am British, born and bred in Leicester, but currently living in Zambia. I wouldn't say Zambia (or Lesotho, or Tanzania, or Liberia, or the USA, all countries I have lived in) is my home, even though I am quite settled here. My wife even gave birth in the US, and we owned a house there, but it certainly was my second home. Same with Lesotho/South Africa where my son was born.

Hopefully by interacting with people on here we can help you understand a little bit of why we would feel attached to the 'mother/father' land! In this case, it is Algeria for Mahrez because that is where is family is from, and especially because he wants to honour his Dad who died when Mahrez was just 15. Personally, I am an economic migrant. The type of work I do doesn't pay well in the UK, and I can get a better standard of living for my family outside the UK. I have always been welcomed where ever I've lived, but the UK will always be my home.

DEAR ALGERIAN POSTERS, DOES SLIMANI SPEAK FRENCH?!?!

Dear foxes21; yes Islam speaks french; he speaks also arabic and Portuguese

And yes he is close to Ryad but that wouldn't be a convincing reason for him to come to Leicester or for Ryad to stay with Leicester if Islam comes.

They are professionals and will do what is best for their careers.

Id put my money on us getting this guy. It seems like he fits too well into how we want to play and the system reading the scout report, looking at this statistics, highlights.
