Thracian Posted 17 May 2016 Posted 17 May 2016 Personally I'd prefer the better player and that seems to be Slimani. Lapadula isn't an 18yo prospect and price doesn't come into it for me. If Slimani doesn't want to play for us I'd close the door and forget he ever existed. However good he is.

I'd happily sign them both and sell Kramaric and either Okazaki or Ulloa or even both of them. Okazaki & Ulloa are decent but we could do better. I'd happily keep Vardy and get another two strikers in and possibly a good teenager in as well to play the 4th striker.

Great, he can play when Kane is injured or needs a rest or come on as a sub when Spurs are chasing a goal. I can't see Spurs playing anything but 4-2-3-1 and Kane being the one up top. At Leicester he will almost certainly take Okazaki's place and be a first team player. If it does come to a straight shoot out between us and Spurs I hope he has that conversation with Pochettino on what his role in the squad will be so he knows what he's getting into and what sort of playing time he can expect.

Thracian Posted 20 May 2016 Posted 20 May 2016 I'm thinking it may be cheaper in the long run if Top pays someone to build one of those superfast shuttles that they have in Japan, Leicester to London 25 minutes. I probably trust Top with the UK's transportation infrastructure more than that shower of morons in Westminster. And with an even bigger and sorrier shower as a potential alternative I'd happily trust our owners with running the entire country given the example they've set.
