Strokes Posted 22 May 2016 Posted 22 May 2016 Ozil a mercenary? haha, some of you on here seem to be living in a utopian bubble. Many of you on this forum highly overestimate the quality of some of the players on this team as well as their commitment to the team.Member since march 2016, did you used to be an arsenal fan?
Mezeker Posted 22 May 2016 Posted 22 May 2016 Member since march 2016, did you used to be an arsenal fan? how did you know!?! Kappa
Gerard Posted 22 May 2016 Posted 22 May 2016 Oxlade Chamberlain has been immense in certain games for Arsenal including against world class opposition. If we have a specific role for him apart from right midfield and he isn't genetically disposed to constant injuries then I'd have him here in a heartbeat. We have players in our youth squad older than him and people are turning their noses up at him. I think he could be immense in the hole between Vardy & the central midfield. I couldn't see him coming though as anyone who has had reasonable first team opportunities at Arsenal sees Leicester as a step down and conceding they're no longer at that level.
foxfanazer Posted 22 May 2016 Posted 22 May 2016 I'd be all over this if we could get him fit. Don't know what Arsenal do to their players but they always end up crocks.
Koke Posted 22 May 2016 Posted 22 May 2016 Can't believe the comments about Ozil here People are actually turning their noses up at a world class talent like Ozil? Would you also turn your noses up at Sturridge since he "doesn't fit our style? Or how about Thomas Muller?

I can't believe some people are quite happy to just disregard the players that have just won the title, to attempt to crowbar in players thet don't fir into our successful system. Yes Ozil is class but in case you didn't notice it was our players, playing our style that won trophies and a player of the year awards. You can snear all you like but our success has been bought about by signing players that still have things to prove and a few of us would prefer that than a complete overhaul of style and system (not to mention the wages and the disruption that would cause). Jesus some people are just so simplistic.
filbertstreet Posted 22 May 2016 Posted 22 May 2016 Imagine not wanting the best no.10 in the world andy king?

Edit: just out of curiosity regardless of what you think about our style of play, you do understand that next year we will have to play just as many games in a possession style because teams will sit back against us right?
Strokes Posted 22 May 2016 Posted 22 May 2016 the level of irony in this post though.Pick it to pieces then.
ARM1968 Posted 22 May 2016 Posted 22 May 2016 OX is a good player broken by the Arsenal system. Given a decent run and some confidence I could see him tearing up trees. Not instead of Mahrez though. He ain't THATgood.

You want players that are hungry and he should be eager after the season he has had to establish himself as a top premier league player.
Harry96 Posted 22 May 2016 Posted 22 May 2016 Messi? more of a right sided forward/ striker ain't he?

Jesus some people are just so simplistic. We're gonna be flexible next season. Remember Norwich at home and Bournemouth at home? We will have a lot more teams come to our place and park the bus. We will have most of the possession against half the league to start with, so we will be forced to alter our style. Also we can't keep signing the likes Redmond who "have a point to prove". We need to sign proven players wbo will add quality immediately and might cost £20m i.e. Slimani.

We haven't lost to a team in the bottom half for 15 months. Btw it's not all about possession, its the pace in which we attack and the work rate of attackers defending from the front that causes teams problems. Ozil is a luxury player, i wouldnt make room for him.

Strokes Posted 22 May 2016 Posted 22 May 2016 Would you take Cristiano Ronaldo, Sturiddge and Muller? Not Sturridge, Ronaldo i think you would get away with his wages as he justifies it , so yes. Muller I haven't really seen enough of to judge
Hack Posted 22 May 2016 Posted 22 May 2016 Özil would be shite for us. Oh dear. Some of you have no idea really. We have none to zero chance of getting Ozil, but to say he would be shite for us is the sign stupidity. God help the management when they buy some unknown potential star with this fan base. How soon we forget. It has already been said by other sensible fans that Drinkwater, marhez, Vardy, Albrighton, Fuchs Huth etc were all castoff's and has been's and Kant was some small kid from a small french club. And look what they did. Remember all these rumours are just that rumours, but for the negative comments these players get from the same moaners as usual is just annoying. You have no F#@@ing idea. Stick to football manager please.

I haven't seen anyone on here even those with no idea about skill and quality disregard our current team members.
Mezeker Posted 22 May 2016 Posted 22 May 2016 Would you take Cristiano Ronaldo, Sturiddge and Muller? Please dont feature Sturiddge amongst those names
