Guest CityFan 06 Posted 22 May 2016 Posted 22 May 2016 As I similarly mentioned with Walcott, I think he would be a great fit here in every aspect.
IsItMuzzy Posted 22 May 2016 Posted 22 May 2016 Claudio said we wouldn't sign big name players. His is like 17 letters long. Won't happen. Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
Guest CityFan 06 Posted 22 May 2016 Posted 22 May 2016 I can envisage this deal happening to be honest. Not an ITK but just think the deal could be good for both parties.
foxoffderby Posted 22 May 2016 Posted 22 May 2016 Me too. Overrated and forever injured. Huth was always injured at Stoke. I would love the Ox at City
Lcfcrory Posted 22 May 2016 Posted 22 May 2016 Wouldn't believe many of these rumours tbh daily mirror seems to just be spouting bs rumours at the minute, according to them Ox is on the verge of signing for Leicester, West Ham, Man Utd and Southampton, Arsenal are going to sign Kante Mahrez Sissoko Krychowiak Mane and xhaka and we're signing Nzonzi walcott Oxlade chamberlain whilst selling vardy to West Ham and Drinky to Liverpool...

Cheers Rory but I think most people are aware of this, it happens every window after all. We are discussing if you like or rate the 'rumoured' target.
49er Posted 22 May 2016 Posted 22 May 2016 One of the most overrated players I've ever seen. This. His natural habitat are the likes of Swansea, Crystal Palace or Stoke, not a team in the Champions League. He's a younger version of Walcott - lots of media hype because he plays for one of the 'big teams' but delivers very little. Also in the overrated team - Stones, Chambers, Shaw...
Koke Posted 22 May 2016 Posted 22 May 2016 He's actually quite an articulate guy, so is Walcott. Compare that to Chambers who can't put a sentence together without loads of cliches. Listening to Drinkwater and Vardy who just talk in cliches and buzzwords (unbelievable, the lads, I just hit it and luckily it went in) it's quite refreshing to see footballers like Ox and Walcott who can actually speak properly.

Koke Posted 22 May 2016 Posted 22 May 2016 Is this what lcfc has become - the ox is a cracking player and if his stats are average over the last couple of seasons it's because arsenal have a number of players in that position - with all due respect he's technically much better than schlupp and albrighton - I think fans need to compartmentalise the difference between a group of players coming together and raising their game to achieve something truly special and individual talent Agreed 100%. I get stick for saying Okazaki isn't good enough and we should try and find someone better than Albrighton but because they've won the league it clouds fans views on players actual abilities. I'd take Ox because he's still young enough to be developed and he isn't on outrageous wages like Walcott.

Trying to work out who, academically, is the most intelligent player we have ever had. I think that John O'Neill had a degree, and I think that Alan Smith was studying at Coventry Poly when he joined us. Fuchs gives me the impression that he's a bright lad, and I believe that Inler speaks a few languages.
artursteppe Posted 22 May 2016 Posted 22 May 2016 Oxlade-Chamberlain has been poorly coached. He does not even know how to back track opposition players, defensively lazy and inept. I think he is OK going forward with a decent level of skill. The question is, could our coaches improve on his weaknesses. If they could make him a more rounded player, he could, maybe, prove to be usefull.
Bazly Posted 22 May 2016 Posted 22 May 2016 Ox is good and quick. Definitely not a play maker or goal scorer though so wouldn't be an ideal replacement for Mahrez. I can't see where he would fit unless Mahrez goes and the team look for 15 odd goals from elsewhere across the team.
katieakita Posted 22 May 2016 Posted 22 May 2016 Claudio,Walshy and the team see things others overlook or miss completely, the Ox would not be cheap but if they see something in him the medical team can do their magic and we would have one hell of a player There will be so much paper talk this summer it will be untrue so lets sit back and enjoy the ride.
4everfox Posted 22 May 2016 Posted 22 May 2016 Oxlade-Chamberlain and Walcott plus 25 million for Kante or Mahrez.
dbtcity Posted 22 May 2016 Posted 22 May 2016 Smh people writing of the ox as not good enough for us .... We're Leicester city, yes we've just won the league but don't let that twist your expectations into thinking were an elite club who will be competing for the title every year unfortunately it's just not going to happen, our players will be cherry picked by the big boys every season for big bucks and replacing them will become harder year on year! A 22 year old full England international with bags and bags of potential isn't good enough yet some random 27 year old from seria B or a player who's just been relegated from the Eredivisie is ... Get your heads out your arse!
johnny the fox Posted 22 May 2016 Posted 22 May 2016 another rolls you never get out of the garage...
dylanlegend Posted 22 May 2016 Posted 22 May 2016 I can't see how he would fit into our team? No 10 role?

TJB-fox Posted 22 May 2016 Posted 22 May 2016 Reckon he's the sort of player that would absolutely thrive here

AyewJoking Posted 22 May 2016 Posted 22 May 2016 if we swap/part exchange mahrez/kante with ANY arsenal players we're getting ripped off.
ROB-THE-BLUE Posted 22 May 2016 Posted 22 May 2016 Junior Lewis had a Doctorate in Biochemistry Should have stuck to that!
z-layrex Posted 22 May 2016 Posted 22 May 2016 We don't want either him or Walcott they're both shit, what the hell is wrong with some of you?? We just won the league and now we want to sign useless Arsenal cast offs? ****s sake.
