m4DD0gg Posted 23 May 2016 Posted 23 May 2016 Some total buffoons on here thinking arsenal reserves are better than one of the best midfields the prem has ever seen. Fanboyism from new fans.
WJH Posted 23 May 2016 Posted 23 May 2016 I think Chamberlian would be good for you guys and visa versa. Arsenal clearly have to much RW players and Campbell would be the one I'd keep at of the lot. With a regular place in the starting line up Chamberlian could be a good player for you guys and Leicester City really is an attractive proposition.

I don't think Ox-Chamberlain would come here, we may be Champions but we're still perceived as a small club who are a flash in the pan. Only sustained success will change our perception. I can't see any Arsenal player under 30 who has had a fair amount of first team football joining Leicester. It's almost a submission that they don't belong at a club that consistently challenges for trophies and CL qualification. The danger for a Walcott (don't want him anyway) or a Chamberlain is that they sign a 5 year deal and next season Leicester finish mid table and that's our level.

Wonk_V71 Posted 23 May 2016 Posted 23 May 2016 I'd take Chamberlain. We've got to remember that the back room staff at our club have improved the players we already had and the players that have come in over the last 2/3 seasons. I'd take Chamberlain. Gerard Posted 23 May 2016 Posted 23 May 2016 and that panned out well for veretout. A bad move last season for him because Leicester and Aston Villa are similar level clubs nowadays. There are only three or four clubs in world football that are a better proposition than Arsenal.
indierich06 Posted 23 May 2016 Posted 23 May 2016 I would 100% take Chamberlain, he's been criminally underused at Arsenal. If our sports science dept/physios can get him back to peak condition and keep him there, then he would be a fantastic player for us.
AKCJ Posted 23 May 2016 Posted 23 May 2016 Worth mentioning that he's got a cracking attitude and seems to get on with everyone at Arsenal.
thybluefox Posted 23 May 2016 Posted 23 May 2016 Christ alive there's some embarrassing posts in this thread.
dpjfox Posted 23 May 2016 Posted 23 May 2016 22 year old current England international has to be a decent addition to the squad
Bluearmyfox28 Posted 23 May 2016 Posted 23 May 2016 Grays better then him Please tell me your fishing?
Guest CityFan 06 Posted 23 May 2016 Posted 23 May 2016 I think he would suit us in every aspect. Perfect surroundings for him to develop at Leicester too.
shailen Posted 23 May 2016 Posted 23 May 2016 I'd be over the moon if we signed him. When fit he's a good player and definitely England quality. Think it's a mistake if he's being sold
EnderbyFox Posted 23 May 2016 Posted 23 May 2016 Can't believe he's only 22. Seems to have been around for years
MC Prussian Posted 23 May 2016 Posted 23 May 2016 He's actually quite an articulate guy, so is Walcott. Compare that to Chambers who can't put a sentence together without loads of cliches. Listening to Drinkwater and Vardy who just talk in cliches and buzzwords (unbelievable, the lads, I just hit it and luckily it went in) it's quite refreshing to see footballers like Ox and Walcott who can actually speak properly. Oxlade-Chamberlain comes across as being both articulate and also rather entertaining and quick-witted. Doesn't strike me neither as a guy with a bad attitude nor as a classic case of a spoilt English footballer. As other have pointed out, he'd fit right in - provided our sports science team can do some wonders and keep him injury-free. Heck, just the prospect of discussing young talent like Oxlade-Chamberlain joining Leicester City FC makes for a nice change!
filbertstreet Posted 23 May 2016 Posted 23 May 2016 Can't believe he's only 22. Seems to have been around for years tbf he's been around for 22 years
Dynamogoon Posted 23 May 2016 Posted 23 May 2016 Would be a real statement if we signed him. And anyone who says he isn't quality is delusional.
Tim'llFixIt Posted 23 May 2016 Posted 23 May 2016 Two years ago we would have all rated him higher than marhez This lad is 22 and a worker, he impresses me in an England shirt even if it's just his work rate and these days it's not often England player impresses me Gerrrrimin
foxes161 Posted 23 May 2016 Posted 23 May 2016 If it wasn't for his injury he likely is in the euro squad
yag101 Posted 23 May 2016 Posted 23 May 2016 He's naturally either footed, physically excellent (if not quite so agile), technically very good, and English. I really have no idea why anyone would reject this as a signing. It's already clear that Arsenal do not know how to train their players effectively to get the best out of them and keep them fit throughout a season, so don't be surprised that he's injured. I have no doubt we'll be able to fix him up.
