AyewJoking Posted 11 June 2016 Posted 11 June 2016 It was only 2010 when we had three on 20+.... 6 years is a bloody long time!
fazzyfox Posted 11 June 2016 Posted 11 June 2016 If they're not going to play to his strengths and play balls into space for him to run on to then he's wasted other than the fact that as an all round finisher he's very good and confident at the moment. I can't see why he's considered to be inferior to Kane, without missing those 2 1/2 games at the end of the season he would probably have at least levelled Kane's goals tally. No defender in the world is confident dealing with pace, I can't see anyone coping with Vardy if he's used properly. Looks like we're modelled on Tottenham which means bottling it when the going gets tough and finishing third if we reach the final two.
FuchingKante Posted 11 June 2016 Posted 11 June 2016 Words cannot express the hate I have for that owl-looking cvnt Hodgson.
Jimothy Posted 11 June 2016 Posted 11 June 2016 I kind of hope we lose after seeing the official team. I'd sack the stupid owl faced **** mid tournament if I could.
FuchingKante Posted 11 June 2016 Posted 11 June 2016 What needs to happen for that old fool to play 4-4-2 with Kane and Vardy up front. Every fcker apart from him can see it.
foxes_rule1978 Posted 11 June 2016 Posted 11 June 2016 we would get demolished playing 4-4-2 tbh. We played the diamond throughout qualifying for me it is the best formation for us
Jimothy Posted 11 June 2016 Posted 11 June 2016 we would get demolished playing 4-4-2 tbh. And we won't by playing a poor striker in midfield and two shite wingers? Square pegs in round holes, not enough cover for our shabby defence. It's simple. You play Dier in front of the back 4. Henderson and Wilshere ahead of him and Alli behind Kane and Vardy. It's not rocket science.

I know everyone wants Roy to copy our system to some degree, but it won't work with this set of players.
The Guvnor Posted 11 June 2016 Posted 11 June 2016 Have to say im not surprised Woy has chosen this starting eleven went to Wembley incidentally to see the match against Portugal and we did play better with the introduction of Sterling and Lallana, was probably due to Portugals 10 men and their fatigue. The game has been discussed on here I know but I was baffled by the continuous swopping around of Jamie and Kane, old owl face is clueless

I've just said how we could play a diamond and I didn't play Rooney.I found the mandatory starter comments from Hodgson shocking, should have sacked him on the spot right then. There is no such thing. What kind of message does it send out to the squad? I want every player, right down to Tom Heaton to believe he can force his way in.
Dr The Singh Posted 11 June 2016 Posted 11 June 2016 It cus he turned down Arsenal, he is not big name enough, playing for little Leicester
ARM1968 Posted 11 June 2016 Posted 11 June 2016 Pundits all sucking Arsenhole before kick off. If we don't win they'll all just turn round and say it was the wrong formation.
Donut Posted 11 June 2016 Posted 11 June 2016 Only 3 players 30+. hardly 'very old'. Average age of over 29. Thats old.
Dodgy Bob Posted 11 June 2016 Posted 11 June 2016 So the leaked teamsheet was correct. Real tight ship you're running there Hodgson, you absolute fvcking twat.

The saving grace from potential failure is the fact he surely has to go this time.
Donut Posted 11 June 2016 Posted 11 June 2016 I pretty much said this would be the formation and team, i think it will work well, but we will see Im braced for a panning if it doesnt
The Horse's Mouth Posted 11 June 2016 Posted 11 June 2016 That midfield just scares the life out of me, Alli's guaranteed a red card this tournament.
foxes21 Posted 12 June 2016 Posted 12 June 2016 wales play 3 at the back, they will mark Kane out the game so easily. So once again, our upcoming fixture is made for Vardy. No Vardy, No Party!
Manwell Pablo Posted 12 June 2016 Posted 12 June 2016 wales play 3 at the back, they will mark Kane out the game so easily. So once again, our upcoming fixture is made for Vardy. No Vardy, No Party! We will try and stretch them won't we, using Stirling and whichever muppet gets lumbered with playing on the left this time. Assuming we stick to the formation which is far from guaranteed.
ARM1968 Posted 12 June 2016 Posted 12 June 2016 Woy will carry on making the same mistakes because he is actually quite dim and unable to see his mistakes. Doubt Vardy will get much game time.
