foxes21 Posted 14 August 2016 Posted 14 August 2016 Yesss. I hope we are signing him to play mainly in CM, he has all the attributes to be a fantastic box to box player. If Drinkwater plays the Kante role, Brady could be great partner for him. King partnering Mendy & Amartey being the versatile option. On paper, it isn't a very inspiring signing. But he 'fits' our philosophy. He's only 24, he's rapid, he's a hard worker, runs all game, bags of energy, knows a couple of our boys from united, etc.

We already have raw pace in abundance in the squad, and Saturday showed we can only play so many before we lack quality. Brady isn't as raw as Schlupp, is arguably more flexible and has real quality on his left foot. The squad isn't lacking in pace, but, is lacking in 'technical quality'.
