floz Posted 15 June 2016 Posted 15 June 2016 Sorry I know this is mentioned in the Euro 2016 section but thought there would be more traffic on the main page. Please could you donate to the just giving page. His family asked for his name to be kept out of the press and social media but after the fantastic response received so far I don't think that has been possible. https://crowdfunding.justgiving.com/j-b
Wymsey Posted 15 June 2016 Posted 15 June 2016 Is this the one that's mentioned in General Sport, or another one? Whether it is all not, really hope he/they gets through - it as innocent people just having the chance of a lifetime shouldn't be victims of a organised gang in a country deprived of respect for others and class.
davieG Posted 15 June 2016 Posted 15 June 2016 Not that it should affect any contributions but I thought it was a Pompey fan http://www.portsmouth.co.uk/news/crime/pompey-fan-in-coma-after-fans-attacked-at-euro-2016-in-france-1-7427688 Or are there two fans affected?

Yes, this guy has been a City STH for years and travels home and away with City and England.

Moksky Posted 15 June 2016 Posted 15 June 2016 Pray SG makes full recover, along with the Pompey supporter. Top lad . It will be interesting to see how many go if we draw a Russian side in the CL
Lcfc_lass10 Posted 15 June 2016 Posted 15 June 2016 Terrible news. Hope they both make a full recovery.
Ross-Kemp Posted 15 June 2016 Posted 15 June 2016 Cheers lads. For those that asked, there's 2 England fans affected, Pepe from Portsmouth who's a decent bloke and SG, who is one of the nicest lads you'll ever meet (donations so far are testament to that). If people could share / donate a couple of quid, it would be appreciated.
Renart Posted 15 June 2016 Posted 15 June 2016 Have donated. Hope he gets fixed asap. Best of luck with it.

DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 16 June 2016 Posted 16 June 2016 The fact remains NO team should be going there Anyone going would be bonkers in my honest opinion Totally agree. I can't understand why Russia has not been thrown out of the Euros.

DB11 Posted 18 June 2016 Posted 18 June 2016 Just donated, think the target is close, hope we beat it, and hope he gets well soon. Close? The funds raised is 168% of the target!
Ross-Kemp Posted 18 June 2016 Posted 18 June 2016 Currently at 101% of the (revised) target. Considering this was set up Tuesday evening with a targeted of £5k, the support has been incredible. Currently at £20378. Just want to say a massive thank you to everyone that has liked / shared / donated so far, it's very much appreciated by everyone. Would love to get this up to £30k by time he comes home.
