It's a shame because he has some excellent policies, but he's not Prime Minister material. And as for Momentum - they give the traditional left (such as myself) a bad name. My respect, and my vote, has to be earned; nobody gets a free ride. Momentum have certainly not helped his cause with traditional labour voters.
Rincewind Posted 29 August 2016 Posted 29 August 2016 Another non story from the Daily Mail. Its no wonder people are having to set up blogs to inform people of the important stories. I dont even know who this woman is. Some tart nearly walks in a puddle. Biggest scoop since the Sun's 'Jo Brand buys a cheese salad sandwich.' http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-2560118/Lauren-Goodger-jumps-round-puddle-outside-coffee-shop-friend.html
Strokes Posted 29 August 2016 Posted 29 August 2016 I'm baffled ken, why are you posting non labour/political news stories in this thread and especially nonsense ones from February 2014? Have a word mods.
Rincewind Posted 29 August 2016 Posted 29 August 2016 Apologies for the late posting. But it is a fact that while right supporting papers and other main stream media publish nonsense like the Corbyn one (who explained the reason and circumstances ie. seats reserved when passing, spoke to manager got a seat later) more left leaning publications will publish alternative and news which is important and not in the MSM. Over the past 5-10 years there seems to be an increase in non stories and alternative sources for important ones. Whether you agree with their POV is irrelevant as they are doing something which the MSM should be doing. The standard and quality of MSM reporting has deteriorated which is why I do not buy a newspaper now. I only glance at them if they are available in places I visit.

Why post links that you can't be bothered to read properly? It adds nothing to your argument and only distracts from the point you are trying to make.

No he didn't, his team made up an excuse about him looking for a seat, when that turned out to be a lie he changed it to looking for a seat for him and his wife, then when that turned out to be a lie and he was asked about the empty non reserved seats he walked past he got annoyed and starting shouting at the reporter. But if the Mail posted a story about "some tart" jumping around a puddle n 2014 then it's clear the timestamped CCTV footage of Corbyn is a smear.

Guest MattP Posted 29 August 2016 Posted 29 August 2016 No that's just based on average polling for the month so far.

Buce Posted 29 August 2016 Posted 29 August 2016 Just now, Webbo said: The current boundaries disproportionately affect the Tories. I wasn't debating that, Webbo - I was just wondering whether it was factored into the predictions Matt posted, or whether it could actually be worse.
Webbo Posted 29 August 2016 Posted 29 August 2016 In that case I wouldn't have thought so. It's going to be reduced to 600 seats and the total above is more than that.

Bet she threw it away
Guest MattP Posted 31 August 2016 Posted 31 August 2016 If you want to see the change in a party it's shown by the latest Yougov poll, on members who joined before 2015, Smith has a 68-32 lead, on members after late 2015, Corbyn is ahead by 86-14, the entryism is complete by the looks of it and Corbyn has his job as long as he wants it. It does make you wonder what he has to do to lose support among his cult.
Guest MattP Posted 31 August 2016 Posted 31 August 2016 Corbyn has a 24 pt lead overall http://news.sky.com/story/poll-boost-for-jeremy-corbyn-ahead-of-leadership-vote-10559035
The Railway Man Posted 2 September 2016 Posted 2 September 2016 This geezers ideas get weirder by the day. http://www.itv.com/news/2016-09-02/jeremy-corbyn-after-work-drinks-discriminate-against-mothers/ Jeremy Corbyn has called on companies to end after-work drinks, claiming that "early evening socialisation" benefits men while discriminating against mothers. The Labour leader made his comments at an early evening event which launched a document detailing how Mr Corbyn's flagship 10 pledges would advance gender equality for women, and tackle gendered violence and harassment. Following the event, held at Unison's offices, a drinks party was held. According to Mr Corbyn an after-work drinks culture "benefits men who don't feel the need to be at home looking after their children and it discriminates against women who will want to, obviously, look after the children that they have got".

What a very sexist point of view, assuming that it's only women who stay at home with the kids while men do all the work.
notnow john Posted 2 September 2016 Posted 2 September 2016 I have to go straight home after work so the wife can get to "prossingo"in time.
Claridge Posted 2 September 2016 Posted 2 September 2016 Corbyn is an old fashioned dinosaur, that's for sure.
Rincewind Posted 2 September 2016 Posted 2 September 2016 you missed a bit out so to be fair Clearly this was not what Jeremy was suggesting, he instead highlighted a concern among many women's groups and the head of the CBI that a male-led after-work networking culture in some workplaces can be detrimental to the career progression of female co-workers who can feel excluded, especially those women with caring responsibilities.

He is so far detached from the real world it's untrue.he acts like its the 1970s.he patronises women all the time.sexist, racist anti-Semitic with his SA ,sorry momentum followers disrupting, threating any opponents, Weimar Germany all over again.
Guest MattP Posted 2 September 2016 Posted 2 September 2016 I bet Corbyn has an image of pubs being like the scene in Gangs of New York.
