RoyFox Posted 23 August 2016 Posted 23 August 2016 So our only hope of buying Paredes is Roma getting knocked out tonight (If Roma go through he'll be ineligible to play in CL for other clubs and they'll need the extra midfielders for the group stages). Well worth keeping an eye on Danilo of Porto too.

It doesn't matter if Roma qualify or not as long as he doesn't play a group game, he can still play for any other club in the Champions League.

Problem we have - he did a very good Cambiasso impression during the 4-0 demolition of Udinese on Saturday. Would have to be at least €25m to get a look in. Rest assured he's gunna have a blinder tonight... If Roma qualify they'd more than likely keep him anyway, as they'll have at least 6 extra games..

I like Paredes, I'm not sure we are willing to spend the amount of money it would take for Roma to sell him though.

However, we got £32m for Kante so I say splash the cash & get this guy in! We still need a DM as Kingy as much as I like the guy, he can't & doesn't tackle. We are missing Kante so much & it's obvious when you see City play. Come on Claudio you must replace Kante if it is the only signing you make before the window closes.
