I'm not sure I can let that high go...

Excuse the rather blunt analogy but this perfectly describes how I'm feeling about this upcoming season.

I feel like a heroin addict that is still chasing that first high.

Last season was so magnificent, so majestic, so dreamlike. I don't think I can let it go. I'm looking at this season and my head and every other Leicester fan is telling me to stop thinking about being Champions, it's not going to happen again, it's a one off but after experiencing the high of last season I can't accept going back to how we use to be. I want us to keep progressing and aspire to do it all over again. I love Leicester City football club, I love this team but I can't go back to mediocrity, I've tasted that sweet, sweet drug of being the best and nothing else will be good enough now. It's like a poisoned chalice. I'm gonna forever be chasing that dragon till we do it all over again.

I've grafted for too many years to simply fizzle back to mediocrity.

I need Ranieri to pull his finger out of his arse, and I need a new director of scouting asap.

We've climbed Everest and from now on I'll always be content. Nobody wants to return to mediocrity but we have no divine right to be up with the big boys season in, season out. I'll die a happy man knowing that we've achieved something most fans will never experience.

Up front, I want to see us run into a successfull era.

I want us to at least manage top 8, and have successfull cup runs.

I would love to see us be beating, the big money clubs and change the outlook on football.

I want to keep this wonderfull, stupid, pathetic, marvellous ethos going...

But, if that dream should fade, last seasons great title season , would still be enough to keep

a permanent smile, and wonderous memories, plus the nostalgia alive until the day....

Years ago many teams were just happy to win once the FA-cup...

Dilly-ding-dilly-dong, we won the PL title...I am happy with my lot..

Did people really think we were going to win the league again, honestly?

Besides it's one game, who says we can't turn them Norf Landan Juankers ova? Pretty sure everything will be rosy again if we do, if not, we move on to Swansea, our first goal is 40 points and CL qualification.

We got to witness something that pretty much 85-80 of the 92 current FL clubs will not see, probably ever. Be happy with it but let it be the outstanding memory that it now is and not let if affect the present you are only going to make things hard for yourself.

When we're a mediocre club again just re read Fez's book and remind yourself of the good times.

I felt drained at Hull, I'm hungover from last season.

Like when you go out on a Friday night, smash it, love it, think Saturday will be just as good and in the first bar you're like "Is it time to go home yet?"
