So it looks like Pearson wants Idiakez as Assistant manager as Derby, why was he never promoted from U16 coach here?

This article confirms LCFC U21 involvement in the new EFL Trophy.

5 over-age players will be allowed to play each game and we'll be in a regional group of four teams, with 2 progressing to the knockout stages.

Dont mind so much U21 playing but 5 over 21? Near enough a premier league reserve team playing league 2 and 1 sides. Should just be young players to help them develop, thought that was the point of it.
