I woke up humming this. Very good. Suggest you drop 'ahmed' from first line and 'even' on second line. I can see UFS singing and clapping to this.

Stuck this one in the mendy thread originally. Obviously loads of versions kicking about but here's the original post..

Started humming manilows'mandy' after learning about the signing and my little boy asked what I was humming. Showed him youtube of song and he started to come up with alternative lyrics. I see others have but for what's its worth here's his effort:

Oh Mendy.

You came, to Leicester, for your tackling

In case we give the baaall away..

Surely the third line should be

"So don't take him away" then it makes sense whenever you sing it

we're second favourites because we play at lunchtime and everyone else plays after us.

also, 7/4 wonder how much we can get on. surely between us on here we've got enough of the away end to start a slow clap as soon as the game starts. we could end up being rich.

I'd be very suprised if we do it at Hull. Our away ends can't sing all in the same time, let alone clap at a quickening pace without a drum or someone down the front leading it lol
