Voll Blau kante chant is sung every week in SK1 and more and more sing along to it with the UFS lads. However, I am not surprised that other stands not heard it. When you go over to for example family stand no one knows the lyrics and often the sound from the kop does not even make it across the pitch. I am sure that on due course like many of the songs will catch on. By the way still love 'leicester boys are we' - this will become awesome once it catches on everywhere. Spine tingling eu champions league night with that sung around stadium.

I've wondered myself how far SK1 songs travel across the stadium. Hard to know when you're in it but I'd have thought some would definitely be heard. Either way it's still noise in a corner of the ground backing the lads. The Kop has been renewed by Union FS.

Part of it is down to how loud the whole ground is compared to how it used to be. I remember when we were in the Championship I stood in K1, and during quiet spells I could always hear the Fosse boys in the SK1 corner where UFS are now. There were a lot less people singing in that corner back then but the sound still travelled because the ground was, in the main, silent.

Now the support across the ground is much better, songs get lost in the general din. Obviously I'd rather have it like it is now than how it used to be, but as you said it can be difficult to get new songs heard!

No offence lads, but you're picked wrong part of Gala's song. 'On fire' variant is more catchy, definitely.

Perhaps, you should expand your version to:

(your effort)

His name's N'Golo Kante, he came across the sea

His name's N'Golo Kante, to play for you and me

His name's N'Golo Kante, he loves LCFC

His name's N'Golo Kante, tell everyone you meet

(and then)

Run, N'Golo, run! Just run more and more! (x4)

(followed by)

Kante is on fire, your midfield is terrified! (x4)

La la la la...

Stick to the original, more people will sing it

N'Golo version IS the original.

Hopefully everyone forgets about that shite over the summer!

Probably not, Will Grigg might get on the Northern Ireland squad for the Euros.

The Will Grigg thing does make a point though. Probably stolen from us but went viral and now the country thinks it's a Wigan song and we are just copying.

In some places around the ground and more often on stream I can here the song melody but not the words and other seats around the ground I just hear clapper noise.

The point is; if a good new chant gets going in the kop please post it on social media. People do want to join in! But  want to sing words not hum or mumble to pretend to be cool. I am not cool, I'm nearly fifty and want to support the team clapper n all!

SK1/4/ L1 - get the chant message across the stadium to help the team.

Just a thought from my own experience.

I think Sol has summed it up perfectly. The ambient noise at kp has intensified with the clappers etc and the atmosphere has just been superb that any singing in corners of the ground just gets drowned unless it's a chant that everyone sings along too. Maybe Great Boos Up has a point we should get the Mercury or even matchday programme to publish an updated list of our songbook (at least clean versions ;-). I think mercury did publish something this season at least online.

When the whole crowd starts to sing one that everyine knows 'vardy party' or 'ullloa 23' etc it's like a Mexican wave as parts of the ground catch up with the lyrics and others readjust and get in sync :-)

Think it's been mentioned before:

We've come a long long way together

Through the hard times and the good

I have to celebrate you leicester

I have to praise you like I should

(could even add in the Kasabian LSF la la laa)

As long as we (City) don't sing it I don't care  lol

Why not?

It's a loud chant that gets others involved. I can see why you wouldn't like us singing other team's songs but it's a simple chant that can be belted out.

It's a concourse chant as much as anything. I bet it's great to sing on an away day with beer flying everywhere.

Leicester have made great waves in the last few seasons by ditching the "everyone sings that" attitude and it's working. Lets carry on I say.

It's a joke.

Just created a song using an Ajax chant, not suggesting we should sing this but found some decent words to it. My lyrics might not work too well but tried to make them fit as best I can. Feel free to suggest some edits to my lyrics. It's not great, and there's room for improvement but thought I'd share it... Would love to see us sing this, bouncing around. Ideal for UFS perhaps?

Those were teh days tune:

Once upon a time there was a Spion Kop

where we'd throw a can or maybe two

Where we'd while away the hours

watching the boys in royal blue

Those were the days my friend

We took the Stretford End

We took the Shed, the Northbank Highbury

We'd fight and never lose

We were on the booze

Those were the days, my friend those were the days

la la la la la la la, la la la la la la la , la la la la la la la la la la..

old but great - bring it back

Can we come up with something to a Lion King song for Tottenham? Something along the lines of 'Did you cry at Stamford Bridge?' to the tune of 'Can you feel the love tonight?' is the best my limited knowledge of Disney and lack of creativity has come up with so far.

Spurs are on their way to fvck all,

Leicester's gone and won it instead,

they thought we couldn't stop 'em, the boys from Tottenham,

Now it's tears at White Hart Lane!

To the tune of "Spurs are on their way to Wembley", obviously  :)

Just thought of this, might sound quite original. To tune of 'you're not singing anymore.' History makes us, history makes us, history makes us who we are! history makes us who we are ---- and so on.

(In the style of "THAT'S AMORE" - maybe one for the Champions League).

When you aim to stay up;

Yet lift the title cup -
That's a Leicester.
Free kicks by Rob Huth,
We say: who gives a Fuchs?
Cos we're Leicester.
Bells will ring,
Ding-a-ling-a-ling,
Ding-a-ling-a-ling,
As we sing; Ranieri.
So come on Vardy -
Start the Party...
Cos we're Leicester!
