According to the independent we tried to sign him on loan, but Conte wouldn't let him go.

 

Looked a top prospect a few years ago, I wonder if we went in for him when it was clear Silva wasn't coming?

He popped up on my Instagram the other day and I wondered if he'd be an option for us.

Don't think he'd be a good buy now. Outstanding for Watford in the 12/13 season but has done very little in his other loan spells. I'm happy with the CMs we've got.

Don't think he will get anywhere near Chelsea's first team, so no idea why Conte wants to keep him.

 

Loftus-Cheek would have been my loan deal pick anyway. Would have tried to work that into the deal.. Kante for release sum + Season Long Loan for Loftus-Cheek. 

 

Ah well. Fatty James will do I suppose...

conte wouldn't let him go? ha ha. he has been on loan the last few years will probably never make it near the chelsea first team like the other thirty odd players they have on loan?

Honestly, I would have been very happy with this if we got him. He's tall, athletic and versatile. Chelsea ruin all their youngsters but with some coaching he could be a great player.
