Proper in the category of only watching RR & Wrestlemania these days.

 

Really enjoyed the women's RR and the ladder match. Fell asleep during the men's RR and that was when watching it in mid-afternoon lol.

The spear that “Speed” took looked damn personal lol

 

The more angles and replays I see of that, there is just no way that hasn’t broke him in half lol

The fact that speed was in the rumble in the first place is a kick in the teeth of actual wrestlers who work hard year round and missed out on a spot in the rumble due to Triple H's insistence in giving "Influencers" air time. That spot could have gone to someone from NXT like Trick Williams. I would even have preferred to see another TNA Talent get the spot over that "Speed" *****.

 

All that being said about influencers getting airtime, as much as I hate the guy as a person, Logan Paul has phenomenal talent and athleticism considering he's not a proper trained wrestler!

He only went in due to an emergency last minute injury that nobody saw coming pal, relax

Haven't watched WWE since around the beginning of the Ruthless Aggression era, but the other day whilst in the bath the YouTube algorithm gods recommended a video from Maven's channel, and it sent me back down a WWE rabbit hole. 

 

Ended up watching a few matches on WWE Vault from 1999-2002 when it was absolutely at its peak IMO. The roster around the time of the Invasion & brand extension was incredible. 

 

The 3-way tag TLC matches. Incredible. And the crowd pop when Stone Cold's broken glass hits every time he returned from injury still gives me goosebumps.

Random entrants like those are literally what makes the Rumble so fun! 20+ years ago we had Drew Carey, who did nothing, seeing Speed take a HUGE spear is awesome.

They really need to put a belt back on Roman, I don’t think anybody in the business is as main event as he is tbh. Great ending to last night, good to see Jey Uso win even if he is a bit of an average wrestler. Really enjoyed LA Knight/Fatu as well. Think night 2 probably has the better matches overall but don’t feel too excited for Cody/Cena

Roman doesn’t need it, he’s too inactive now as well. But he was incredible, Cody has filled the role well, do think he’ll win tomorrow.
