It's not as if we were playing well and winning with Drinky in the team.

As for the elbow I don't think it was intended as such he was just trying to get the player off his shirt as he ran forward the only way you can practically do that whilst continuing forward is to reach behind unfortunately he caught the guy who then made a meal of it.

Somewhat ironic as the Watford player was one of dirtiest on the pitch.

The issue of intent in football, other than handball, has been removed from the laws.

In effect if something happens then that's what is judged the question did they mean to do it is no longer a factor.

To those of you that have mentioned we're not playing well with Drinky in the team, is that just a little blind optimism or is there anything you've seen to make you think we're going to look better when replacing him with King/Amartey?

Genuine question, as to me I can't see anything but our performances deteriorating.

I wasn't suggesting otherwise it was in response to those calling him an idiot etc.

Well the only thing that can get worse than the current performances is the goals against.

Fair enough but it's something that drives me mad in that the majority of pundits and unfortunately both supporters and indeed players tend not to keep abreast with the every changing laws in football

Just to be clear none of the Academy boys can step in as they are not in our 25 man squad. James and the little cabbage are in said squad

I sincerely doubt that anybody from the academy will be drafted in, however I thought academy players were exempt from the 25 man squad rule? As the initiative behind it was to give more young players a chance etc?

Well if that's correct, I apologise for giving duff information. What you write sounds logical too

In addition to the 25 players  named in the squad clubs can register any number of players  under the age of 21 in the case of Leicester another 44 players have been resigesterd with the premier league

That's right, any academy player as long as they're under 21 are fine.

Harvey Barnes will lead us to victory

Genuinely think he isn't miles off playing now but he'd really struggle in a 2.. Seen him 4 or 5 times this year alone and he's by far the stand out player in that u23 team. In a midfield 3 he could be interesting given a bit more freedom to get forward

Amartey and King need to play as well as we know they can.

Neither are bad players but both are in awful form.

I thought king was decent last night and amartey will provide legs ..... we will need pace, skill and attaching in the front 4!!
