Corky Posted 23 November 2016 Posted 23 November 2016 We need to hope that, as Ulloa did when Vardy was suspended, others take the lead and up their game to compensate. Who knows, King and Amartey might form a decent little pairing for a couple of games?

King was decent last night because Brugge are shit. Me and you would of looked good against them.

Carl the Llama Posted 23 November 2016 Posted 23 November 2016 Anyone got a video of the incident? This whole event has completely passed me by.

There was one on Twitter but it's been taken down now. Can't find another. Basically the Watford player was pulling Drinky's shirt and not letting go so to remove him Drinky threw his arm back making contact with their face. Ref was stood right next to it in the video but apparently didn't see it
lcfc48 Posted 23 November 2016 Posted 23 November 2016 I don't know whether it's the fact I'm looking at it with a biased view or because it wasn't the best quality video I saw but it doesn't look to me like a clear cut elbow. The two of them were tussling a little bit with Behrami holding on to Drinkwater. It looks to me as though Drinkwater is just trying to free his arm to release himself. He appears to move his arm in more of an upwards motion rather than throwing it back in the face of Behrami.

Dr The Singh Posted 23 November 2016 Posted 23 November 2016 For me it's a chance to understand how reliant on drinky. The Amertey and King fanboys can get there chance to see there idol(s)in there full glory or lack of

Collymore Posted 23 November 2016 Posted 23 November 2016 Ron Morgan Huth was Simpson fuchs king Mahrez okazaki Gray vardy I'd like to see 5-1-3-1with wing backs. Get Okazaki dropping back to help King when needed - basically bring in Was for Drinkwater to build the "wall"
Fox seen in Norwich Posted 23 November 2016 Posted 23 November 2016 Someone might suggest it's FA punishment for pulling out of the England squad with bruised ribs only to then play for club in the next game. Havent seen the incident - any links? Has to be king and Amartey. We have them on the pay roll for this exact situation! James bench perhaps..
SpinneyHillRanger Posted 23 November 2016 Posted 23 November 2016 opportunity to try three in midfield Amartey, king and maybe okazaki then have slim and vardy up front
Ashley Posted 23 November 2016 Posted 23 November 2016 Drinkwater isn't the type of player to do that sort of thing though, albeit he did it. First time I've seen Fuchs properly lose it Saturday at opposition players..
southfox66 Posted 23 November 2016 Posted 23 November 2016 its ideal situation for James to come back, If Middleborough anything like last Saturday their midfield was so slowly and almost non existence. I'd start with King and James I don't see it been a problem, James has got to be thinking this is my moment and even if you don't start with him, he has to be on bench who else we got with premier experience?

Love the guy, a great of the past and a potential doer of odd jobs, but not 90 minutes in the Prem. Those days are gone...

It'll be like the Junior Lewis and Robbie Savage pairing all over again seiously though, at the start of the season I wanted to see Amartey play CM, now I think it's blindly obvious he's not good enough. Would rather let James have a run out, i also though Kaputzka could play there?
The People's Hero Posted 24 November 2016 Posted 24 November 2016 Remember that game early this season when amartey was excellent ?
Guest Col city fan Posted 24 November 2016 Posted 24 November 2016 Christ...the thought of Amartey alongside King... Hes gotta step it up somehow or this could be a dodgy ol run here.

He had a couple of decent games against PL low lights I seem to remember but that was with DD by his side. This period SHOULD see a change in formation because he and King in the centre could well see us losing the three games Drinky is out for, and that may see us in the 'zone'. Ifs and buts I know, but.....
