Should Leicester sell Ulloa ?

has been good of the bench, but done very little today, but then the whole team was shit.

Disagree with that - thought his work rate and ability to bring the ball down and move it on was first rate - offered no service and let down by those around him. It would be a huge mistake to let Leo go - not saying he's a better option but he has a far better touch than slimani

if we can get a better alternative then sell, he doesn't score enough goals and for a target man offers very little.just isn't mobile enough and will never be a first team regular with just coming on from the substitutes bench or used if we have injuries or other things going on.yes he can hold the ball up and bring others into play but we need so much more from him if he is to have a run in the team.

Not just this performance even though I admit I thought he did nothing today.

I just don't think he's good enough for the premier league.

Then you don't know a lot about football.

Anyone who contributes nearly 30 times for a team who wins the Premiership  is definitely good enough for the premier league.

I've always felt Ulloa was overrated.  I really like the guy and think that our fondness for him sometimes clouds our judgment.  He has made some crucial contributions over the last couple of years, for which we should be forever grateful.  I just can't see him in a proper PL starting XI.  I thought this before the 'Boro match and saw nothing yesterday to change my view.  That said, with Slimani disappearing for a bit, I would not sell him at this point.

Good cover for Slimani he is quite similar to slimani but not as good, offers a good ariel threat, only reason I would keep him though, do like him, he has got us a few important goals and always comes and trys hard as a sub but i can't see him in the starting 11 unless we have players out

Definitely sell.
He's come on and done ok for 10 mins here and there, but he really shouldn't be starting games for us with our new style.
Playing him upfront by himself with Okazaki in that No.10 role didn't work at all yesterday.
Get a few million in for him whilst we still can.

He wouldn't have started yesterday if we weren't missing our 2 main strikers.

Whats this new style he wouldn't suit? Hoofing it aimlessly upfield bypassing the midfield. I'd say he suits that more than the style we played last season.

Pressing from the front and bringing the supporting attacking players into play.  I don't think he's that great at this.

You're right. But seeing as we are playing hoofball and bypassing the midfield now (which is what Steve_Walsh is alluding to) then we should most certainly keep Ulloa.

Unless we buy another forward then NO. with Slim off to AFCON, Okasaki not an out and out goalscorer, Vardy firing blanks, Musa never picked, Schlupp being sold. we only have Ulloa really to rely on and he does have goals in him

yes we should sell him because personally i believe slimani is a massive upgrade on him , personally feel he just needs time to settle his workrate is excellent and he is one of the best headers of the ball in the prem if we can get service to him hes also strong and has a good finish. he will come good .

Do you not remember Ulloa's start to Prem life? He was by far the best header of the ball then, strong and a good finisher.

Im not disagreeing in that Slimani is an upgrade but I don't think it's a massive one. Also if Slimani is at the AFCON why would you want to sell Ulloa

This is a major downer, I have on Claudio..!!!

When Ulloa is on the pitch, we need one of our wingmen to get down the line, and put in a decent cross, not once but

3-5 times..lookback at Swansea/Norwich from last season.Plus a couple of games this season...Gray to Ulloa.

Pick Ulloa pick a winger who doesnt cross too early...simples.

Sell, but in the summer not now.

Keep for sure.

His attitude is first class, he is a proven Premier League goal scorer and in fact, his goals per minute ratio last season was right up there with some of the best around.  He might not be a starter, but coming off the bench, he is a great option.

I used to be critical of Ulloa, primarily because of his first touch but this has really improved.

Selling him without a replacement would be ridiculous.  And who do you replace him with that would hit the ground running with 20 minute cameo appearances whilst accepting to be a back up for Vards/Slim/Oka?

I'd prefer to keep him, but on the other hand, sell him, then we won't need to reply to the same posts every transfer window.....lol

Even Messi, would struggle with the service our team provides

Odd comparison that - Messi IS Barcelona's provider No.1. He's everywhere.

We don't have such talent amongst our ranks atm.

Seems Brighton have an interest in taking him back. Good move all round if true.

It's not really though is it because we've not got a replacement, there's not many bit part players that would come here for the price we will sell him for and make the contributions he does.

But if he want's out for game time better Brighton than a prem rival.
