To thank Leicester City fans for their fantastic support this year, the Club will help the Blue Army see in 2017 in style - with free beer ahead of the New Year’s Eve fixture against West Ham United.

After a landmark 12 months for City, which saw Claudio Ranieri’s men win the Premier League title in May, Chairman Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha has laid on a free beer for all Foxes fans attending the Premier League fixture at King Power Stadium on Saturday (3pm kick-off).

With a UEFA Champions League round of 16 tie against Sevilla to look forward to in the New Year as well, the Club wishes to show its gratitude to the City faithful for their continued support ahead of a crucial run-in of fixtures in 2017.

Complimentary bottles of beer or bottled water (one per ticket holder) will be vended on the production of a valid home match ticket from designated collection points directly outside King Power Stadium from 12.30pm until 2.30pm.

Alcoholic drinks will be available strictly to those aged 18 and over in accordance with the Challenge 25 policy while bottled water will also be available as an alternative. Stadium turnstiles will open at 1.30pm.

Branded drinks collection points can be found at:

- Between Turnstiles 31 & 32 (servicing East Stand)

- Between Turnstiles 20 & 21 (servicing the South Stand)

- Between the City Fanstore and shirt printing unit (servicing North Stand and turnstiles 1-6)

- Turnstiles 7 & 12 (servicing other West Stand areas)

Please note:

A complimentary bottle of beer or bottle of water will be vended on the production of a valid home match ticket for the Premier League fixture between Leicester City and West Ham United on Saturday 31 December, 2016.

Strictly one drink per match ticket. Offer only valid on Saturday 31 December, 2016. Please look for the posters to see which service points you can collect your free drink from.

Hospitality customers will be able to collect their complimentary beer or water from their respective lounge.

Imagine being this miserable about the year we've just had.

Need more than one bottle to make it look any good on the pitch...

In all seriousness nice gesture, they don't have to do it, but 3 points would be more appreciated (something they can't effect I know)

Cheer up pal! Things aren't going great on the pitch right now but how many other clubs would do this?! And regardless of what happens, we all got to experience the greatest day in our clubs history this year, and surely that's worth drinking to!

I Dont disagree with anything you have said, i just wonder how long can we keep riding on the memory of last season... and again, dont miss understand me, because i will remember last season for the rest of my life.. But things need to be addressed and changed QUICK, whether last season happened or not...

Didn't we get a free bottle about this time last year against Man City as well?

Fair play to the owners but it makes me wonder who actually pays for this stuff, those Vardy masks had some firms name on the back, probably who made them so do they do this kind of stuff free or at a very reduced rate, spreads their brand and lots of consumers use it.

Seeing as the beer is by a firm that supplies the club all year I'd say they're getting it free or near as.

Still  good of them though. Mince to go with it would be nice. lol

Imagine being someone who has to find something wrong with literally everything in life, including free beer

Pointed at me?

If so reread my post, I'm not finding something wrong with free beer, I even make a point of saying it's great twice in it, just wondered how this happens costs wise, obviously I'm far more intellectual than you lot so I'll bid you good night.

This place has gone down the toilet recently, no surprise it goes with our form, posters arguing with each other, so called posters calling super fans, ones wanting CR out.

I usually don't bother we've these things because the queues are too long and I'm not arsed so I'll give any little token to anyone next to me. Like with carveries I find being in long queues clutching a slip of paper like something out of a concentration camp. I'd rather keep my dignity.

Don't think i've ever needed to queue, even at the Everton game last season managed to get once quickly and easily.

Certainly alot easier to get a free one than it is queue in the concourses to buy one!
