Can't work out if it's great or just plain wrong... Sounds bizarre. "Anarchy for the orchestra, it's coming some time, maybe during the intermission. Resist the Ar-i-a! Resist the RPO! I thought it was a minuet or just another sym-phon-ee-ah!" Did you ever see Ade Edmondson & the Bad Shepherds? They used to do folk versions of old punk and post-punk songs....very good, surprisingl.
Alf Bentley Posted 23 July 2017 Posted 23 July 2017 And the award for extraordinary and unexpected comeback of the year goes to....Peter Perrett of The Only Ones:

Leicester_Numan Posted 27 July 2017 Posted 27 July 2017 Finally, here is the video for My Name Is Ruin featuring Gary's daughter Persia. Enjoy. Here they are playing it live last night. Persia is only 11 and making her video and stage debut on the same day. I bet she was cacking it, bless her.

The concept is bizarre, punk and opera should be at opposite ends of the social divide, but it sounds pretty good. New Alice Cooper is good as well - not listened to him that much before, but it's a solid album. Lot more bluesy than I was expecting.
Gary Eatfood Posted 29 July 2017 Posted 29 July 2017 This is my album of the year so far. Opening track below.
Leicester_Numan Posted 30 July 2017 Posted 30 July 2017 Another of the tracks from the new album Savage. I love this track and from what I've heard from the album, it's going to be his best. 39 years into a career that includes the classic number ones Replicas, The Pleasure Principle & Telekon plus Splinter, that's some going.
David Guiza Posted 1 August 2017 Posted 1 August 2017 Attended the Cambridge Folk Festival and haven't stopped listening to the Fantastic Negrito since. Amazing voice and presence, and backstory too. Also followed by Fuchs on twitter, though he does follow everyone it seems!
Guest Posted 10 August 2017 Posted 10 August 2017 another tasty tune that tops anything from solo noel. firmly Team Liam these days.
Leicester_Numan Posted 11 August 2017 Posted 11 August 2017 http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b08zqycg Gary Numan interview with Wossy on Radio 2 last night which includes another song from Savage, And It All Began With You. Quite a beautiful song, I know, the words Gary Numan and beautiful very rarely go together but in this case they do. Listen from 14.50 for the full interview

ScouseFox Posted 16 August 2017 Author Posted 16 August 2017 dizzee album is actually pretty good. not sure if we've gone back 15 years here to find this comment or what. but it is.
Leicester_Numan Posted 31 August 2017 Posted 31 August 2017 First radio play and the first time I've heard the studio version of When The World Comes Apart and it's effing brilliant. Gary mixes industrial and electronic better than Nine Inch Nails have for years. My new favourite Numan track on what is definitely going to be his best album. 43 minutes in. http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b0927dn3
