Guest ttfn Posted 25 January 2017 Posted 25 January 2017 I know we didn't give them much of a game but surely Southampton were higher than 3.29?!

The fact it wasn't the worst display of the season just makes you realise what an absolute car crash it's been. We've been beaten by 3+ goals 7 times already this season and been utterly abject probably another half dozen times on top that.
Kitchandro Posted 25 January 2017 Posted 25 January 2017 Gray MOTM after blasting it over the bar 3 times with teammates in great positions. Says it all I'm not sure how Fuchs got above Morgan. Literally everything he did was the worst thing he could have done in that situation. Nobody could have had a worse performance, it's impossible.
Aus Fox Posted 25 January 2017 Posted 25 January 2017 Which performance was worse than that? Gray MotM shows how bad it was, his decision making on the day was truely woeful.

Sampson Posted 25 January 2017 Posted 25 January 2017 Gray was chuffing woeful and beyond greedy. How the hell did hie get MOTM ahead of Schmeichel? Still don't get Gray at all. He's all show pony but a greedy one with zero end product,

Can't remember Schmeichel doing anything but picking the ball out of the net tbh. One of those games where there was actually no motm.
Bazly Posted 26 January 2017 Posted 26 January 2017 When your captain comes bottom of a sorry pile you know you have the wrong man as captain. If the Captain cannot influence or contribute to the game you have no leader on the pitch and when things aren't going well you need leaders all over the pitch. Time for Morgan and Huth to be retired, May at the latest.

Because they'd only scored more than one goal at home once all season?
Melbourne Fuchs Posted 26 January 2017 Posted 26 January 2017 Hey I called it, not that it wasn't plainly obvious.

Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 26 January 2017 Posted 26 January 2017 How did Wes get over 1.5 average? Missed a sitter, gave away a pen, lost Rodriguez for his goal and would've bagged an OG if it wasn't for crap officiating.

Chico1958 Posted 26 January 2017 Posted 26 January 2017 Well I'm glad that's out of the way................. Move On Oh, did we get beat by the team who dumped Liverpool out of the Cup by the way ? And playing them in an unfamiliar formation.
Koke Posted 26 January 2017 Posted 26 January 2017 Those numbers are damning. God forbid we lose to Derby and Burnley, over half the fan base will turn on him and want him out.

Truly the worst game until now, from both players and coach.

Derby is doable and I'd take draw at Burnley any day. But the thing is we have to win. How long since we won two consecutive games? Since last season?

Mid October 1-0 v Copenhagen 3-1 v Palace A month earlier we also beat Brugge 3-0 and then Burnley 3-0 few days later. We need to play a strong side against Derby and beat them to breed confidence.
