Won the championship, avoided relegation, and won the PL for the first time in 132 years. Watching city at the moment is frustrating but I love LCFC I'm not at all happy with how things are at the moment, but I was pointing out that it gets far worse than this. Two or three new signings could transform this side. Here's hoping anyway.

Guest Col city fan Posted 28 January 2017 Posted 28 January 2017 If anyone thinks it can't get much worse than last night, you didnt see us play the final third of the season under Peter Taylor. Or the football we (didnt) played under Holloway. It's not pretty at the moment, granted, but it's miles off those days.
AyewJoking Posted 28 January 2017 Posted 28 January 2017 the great escape. the impossible dream. the great escape mk II................ 3 miracles in a row

The last thing we need is more players ffs. These players were heroes last year. Ability wains slowly, it does not disappear overnight. A consistent line up and a bit of intelligent support wouldn't go amiss.
UPinCarolina Posted 28 January 2017 Posted 28 January 2017 Is Bells cheap in the UK? The Bells from the US I mean.
Raj Posted 28 January 2017 Posted 28 January 2017 Second half we made some great chances and ANY instinctive striker WOULD have scored. The ball atvtgecend which seemed to roll along the area for about 10 mins...Where were our strikers busting a gut to get that winner? We are shit but not mega shit yet!
dayday Posted 28 January 2017 Posted 28 January 2017 We're in free fall, if we don't sign 2 or 3 players now I fear the worst. Last season you would go to the game knowing that we wasn't going to lose, this we look beat before we've started.
HighPeakFox Posted 28 January 2017 Posted 28 January 2017 To answer the question..........of course it can get far worse. Will it?
Edingleyfox Posted 28 January 2017 Posted 28 January 2017 Have not seen us miss so many good chances for a long time - but at least we created something and dominated the second half.It could have been worse. Really do need a couple of players in to freshen things up at both ends of the park and inject a bit of confidence because Derby were not great apart from their goals.
TheLittleBigMan Posted 28 January 2017 Posted 28 January 2017 I'm just chuffed we didn't get our pants pulled down. That would be worse.

Guest Bilo Posted 28 January 2017 Posted 28 January 2017 We went a decade without Premier League football of any kind not so long ago. We were in League One playing against Hereford and Stockport nine years ago. Where now we have Riyad Mahrez and Demarai Gray, we once had Josh Low and Danny Tiatto. Even in the FA Cup, we lost at home to Wycombe before utterly imploding and getting relegated the next season. Being champions of England, albeit playing worryingly poorly, and having European football is very far from the lowest we can go.
Fox92 Posted 28 January 2017 Posted 28 January 2017 Last night we deserved to win. Simple. We were far better than them and a clinical striker would've scored at least two for us. But the defence is a massive issue and if we don't sort it out then I fear.
Fox92 Posted 28 January 2017 Posted 28 January 2017 Why are people bringing the past up. It's over. It's gone.... The thread is about THIS SEASON. Can it get any worse? I dunno. In the league we are in freefall, cannot win away, players don't look bothered, manager doesn't seem to have a clue... At the minute I'd be over the moon finishing 17th. I've been going home and away since early 00's. I've sat through Levein and Holloway etc. I was at Stoke when we got relegated and I went to places like Stockport and Oldham... But all that's in the past now. We've got to focus on improving and getting better. We had the chance to do that in the summer and didn't.
