WigstonWanderer Posted 6 February 2017 Posted 6 February 2017 Ok I'll give it a go.... It was pleasing to see a surging run or two from Ndidi. Reminded me a little of you know who.

Us 5 wins Palace 5 wins Hull 5 wins Sunderland 5 wins Swansea 6 wins Boro 4 wins It's laughable to say any of those sides are better than us. They are not. Hull have managed just 22 goals all season, that's 2 less than us and they have sold there top goal scorer. Michael Dawson is now there top scorer. Swansea do better in the goal scoring market with 29, but have conceded 54! That's 15 more than us, you think our defence is bad. We are playing poorly and nothing is roseie in our garden, but to claim that any of the bottom 5/6 are worse than any other is at best idiotic. You seem not to have taken notice of football since the new year. The whole season is meaningless in terms of form. We haven't scored in the league in 2017, have been woeful and clueless. Hull look well drilled, drew with Man U, beat Liverpool etc. Swansea have won 2 games recently and are playing good football. Sunderland managed 4 against a Palace side yes but Palace had won their prior match. In other words, they are mostly all scoring, playing much better, are organised and battle for each other. The only side as poor as us at the moment arguably is Bournemouth and even they can score. What happened before Christmas is now as relevant as last season. We all within 2 points and the others largely have gained momentum whilst we look like the Titanic.

Form is temporary, and can change in a single game. At the start of the season Sunderland couldn't buy a win, now they are back within a couple of points, Hull and Swansea have both looked dead and burried at times, but guess what they turn it around. Obviously you chose to look at Football one way and I look at it a different way. That's what makes the game great. I
Cadno'r Cymoedd Posted 6 February 2017 Posted 6 February 2017 OK. Send me some of what you're on. I've got a hard day ahead and some happy juice will be perfect. I hope you're right but it's about us getting it right and sorted not all the others being shit when they are not. I bet two years ago, the fans of Burnley, Hull etc. thought Leicester are gash and and are gone and relgated. That was the case wasn't it? So yes we can do it but so can others and they seem more likely than us at the moment.

Sunderland, Crystal Palace, Hull, Swansea and Middlesbrough are all equally as bad as us. Hull and Swansea are having a bit of new manager syndrome and picking up some results, but do lack any real quality. They are playing with heart, passion and desire at the minute - which we are massively lacking. But if we can find a bit of togetherness or something we do still have a chance of staying up. we haven't yet been in the bottom 3. Like your positive mindset mate, but you are in for big shock. Better to quietly resign yourself to relegation.

We are worse than them NOW.

Then you need to watch more games. They are winning games even CP. A few weeks ago I thought Watford were dropping like a stone but they have sorted themselves. Hull and Swansea look well drilled, can score and are committed. Three things we are not or don't do at the moment. Agree with you teams around us are picking points up
Beliall Posted 6 February 2017 Posted 6 February 2017 Nope. My Spurs supporting mate has piped up finally, we need to survive so i can ram it down his fat neck
waylander Posted 6 February 2017 Posted 6 February 2017 We won the prem will have the best team and manager in the championship if we do go down cheer up. We're Leicester it's what we do.?
sly1 Posted 6 February 2017 Posted 6 February 2017 We will get out of this mess believe starts next Sunday c,mon city you can do this
nnfox Posted 6 February 2017 Posted 6 February 2017 If we score the same number of points as Sunderland, Hull and Palace we stay up. If we do that and win the FA Cup and CL then this season will surely be the greatest season ever!

"Looks like Ranieri's defensive woes have been offered a solution by Avram Grant. Daniel Amartey looks like a perfect CB now. #AFCON2017" Can Benny or Wague also come good and with Chilwell in for Fuchs, we get a strong young mobile defence again. (Don't ask about RB though?) Amartey would probably be good in a three, he doesn't seem quite strong enough to play in a two but in a three he would provide athleticism and decent on the ball for a centre back if he had Huth and Morgan along side him. Huth and Morgan have also played well in a three before in the "Great Escape". Bring in Albrighton and Chilwell for their energy levels and both play that wing back role very well. Drinkwater and Ndidi in front of them and three from four of Mahrez, Gray, Slimani and Vardy.

foxy boxing Posted 6 February 2017 Posted 6 February 2017 we CAN still save ourselves!. at the moment I don't care if Claudio stays or goes but the players are good enough to get out of the situation they are in. they need to show effort, determination, commitment, drive and a togetherness. last season wasn't a million years ago and neither was the great escape. they know what can be done so they need to go on the pitch and get it ******** done!
mozartfox Posted 6 February 2017 Posted 6 February 2017 We need CR to bin the current back 4 playing from playing together as a unit from now on in.. We need to introduce some pace so either of Huth or Walker have to go.. Chilwell has to start and we need to try Amarty and Wague in the back line.. They need protection in front as Kante gave, then with back shored up we can play with more freedom in the middle and up front.. Everything stems from this septic back line. To slow by far.. We need Slim back to.. This all needs to be done like now.
ZeGuy Posted 6 February 2017 Posted 6 February 2017 We have Ndidi in the midfield. Had a good feeling about the kid before he came and he didn't disappoint me. Too bad Drinkwater choose to become shit instead of stepping up and pulling the strings in the midfield.
Callabinho Posted 6 February 2017 Posted 6 February 2017 Are we overlooking Amartey at CB? He's had rave reports from the African nations....Morgan in the bin...
