Dan Posted 6 February 2017 Posted 6 February 2017 Gave Ndidi a 6 and Gray a 5. The rest 2 and 3. Drinkwater, Huth, Fuchs and Mahrez all with 2. Ranieri 2. Ref 4. Man Utd 7.
AyewJoking Posted 6 February 2017 Posted 6 February 2017 schmeichel 5 conceded many goals this season yet has been arguably our best player throughout. simpson 4 limitations highlighted by his team mates general shítness fuchs 4 looks increasingly sloppy. needs a few games out morgan 5 average as in averagely poor huth 4 too slow maybe better in a CB 3? mahrez 4 seriously must be cursed or something drinkwater 4 can do the dirty work but lost all creative spark and as for shooting ndidi 5 not been here long enough to get infected. best outfield player musa 1 im calling it, he's shít okazaki 3 cant rely on him anymore. diabolical vardy 3 ineffective king 4 meh gray 5 meh

For me any ref who makes a poor decision that directly contributes to the outcome of the game gets a 1. Not saying we would have won or solely blaming the ref, but the decision not to send Mata off at 0-0 was a shocker. 11 v 10 and we have a chance, not to mention Mata went on to score the third goal which killed the game off.

In regards to the Ref - I think one is harsh considering Gavin Ward ect. exist, the main thing wrong from my perspective was how much the ManU players were able to control him in interactions, mainly Ibra really but it just seems players learn the legal ref lingo so can confidently and aggressively have their nads on a platter. Beat them at their own game as it were. Dont thinks Mata's lunge was a red, foot on the ground with partial control but irritating considering Vardy's Stoke red. They were very physical and we stood up well to it for half an hour but suddenly it was like we knew we had to defend for our lives, everyone pegged back in our third of the pitch so the ball kept coming back, eventually crack and then we capitulated. Whether thats tactical, the half time changes suggest it would be. For the first 20mins we had a degree of attacking potency, Mahrez was finding space and jinking past players, Vardy was running down opposition and linking up and then N'didi battled Pogba well and kept his game up, Gray added some impetus although the guarantee with him being in possession; we wont be in 10 seconds. Our defence got dismantled and embarrassed, Kasper kept a couple of goals away and flighted some nice balls out.
Guest ttfn Posted 6 February 2017 Posted 6 February 2017 Schmeichel 5 Simpson 3 Morgan 3 Huth 3 Fuchs 3 Mahrez 4 Ndidi 7 Drinkwater 2 Musa 2 Okazaki 3 Vardy 4 Subs: King 4 Gray 5 Ranieri 3 (I don't want him to be sacked but it would be disingenuous to suggest he's the right man for the job any more) Ref 4 Man United 7
JR99 Posted 6 February 2017 Posted 6 February 2017 Schmeichel 6 - good saves and nothing he could do with their goals. Sometimes looks so frustrated kicking out, and his frustrated spooned clearance ended up in their third goal. Fuchs 3 - looks leggy and like even he thinks Chilwell should be in... Wes 4 - average game, but still conceded three, for the third game in four Huth 3 - made to look bang average by ibra on a few occasions, spent alot of time on the wrong side Simpson 4 - not a shocker by his standards, but he does that awful chippy floaty pass every time and needs replacing imo Musa 5 - thought he looked okay, don't know why claudio pulled him at half time. He looked like he cared and was trying, I'd have given him a go up top in the second half and brought on gray for vardy Drinkwater 3 - needs dropping imo, absolutely love him but he looks like he doesn't have a clue what's happening and just lays the ball off backwards everytime. Needs to take control of the game Ndidi 7 - thought he was excellent in a poor display, battled for every ball and won most headers, there was a point in the first half where he won 3/4 duels in about a minute. Also had some excellent driving runs. MOTM Mahrez 4 - carries the ball so well but nothing good came of it. Held back by those around him Shinji 2 - so ineffective, spent most the time on his arse being pushed off thr ball Vardy 3 - needs dropping, and I'd have pulled him at half time and given musa a go. Granted he can do nothing with the hoofs, but when he does get the chance to close down he just points Gray 6 - carried the ball well, drove at their defence, but no final product King 3 - missing. Claudio 3 - is it all him? He can do what he likes in the changing room, but he's been let down week after week (go because I can't see how anything is going to get better, but wish he didn't have to) UTD 6 - made to look better by us Ref 3
David Hankey Posted 6 February 2017 Posted 6 February 2017 When you've got over half the team on 3 or below you've got serious problems as our league position confirms. 14 games to go, 42 points to play for and the 40 point target looking more and more remote.
lgfualol Posted 6 February 2017 Posted 6 February 2017 Was going to give King an N/A until I remembered he came on at half time. Ndidi Motm. 3s for defence, drinkwater and okazaki, 4s for everyone else. 5 for Gray.
goose2010 Posted 6 February 2017 Posted 6 February 2017 Schmeichel 5 Simpson 5 - Best of a bad bunch kept Rashford relatively quite Morgan 3 Huth 3 Fuchs 3 Mahrez 4 - Should have swapped sides with Musa we didnt give him the ball enough Ndidi 7 - Lad has talent - actually feel sorry for him Drinkwater 3 - shadow of the player last season beating him self up too much - trying too hard Musa - 4 One half chance where he should of just lashed it - felt it was harsh to take him off Okazaki 3 - I love the guys energy but has he got vertigo or something, shouldnt fall over as much as he does! Vardy 4 - No service no chance of getting on to anything really, did the right thing laying off to Musa. Subs: King 3 - pointless last his legs cant be that box to box player he used to be. Gray 3 - I dont get the loving at all. So frustrating no end product, didnt beat the first man 3 corners in a row, looks for the top bag everytime. Offered no support defending looked shattered after about 5 minutes of coming on. Would rather have seen Albrighton in the second half. He needs to learn a lot at this level to cerment his place in the team. Ranieri 4 - shouldnt of brought Musa off at Half time. Ref 4 Man United 7
Koke Posted 6 February 2017 Posted 6 February 2017 I gave Man Utd a 6. They didn't get out of second gear and we made them look like champions elect. They won't have an easier away game all season.
Fox92 Posted 6 February 2017 Posted 6 February 2017 Everybody 3 expect Schmeichel (6), Ndidi (6) and Gray (5). Ranieri 3 Ref Manchester United 6 - Some United fan phoned up 606 saying they were brilliant. Give over. They were average and we made them look brilliant.
Guest MattP Posted 6 February 2017 Posted 6 February 2017 Painful to rate them, we were shocking. Schmeichel 4 Simpson 3 Morgan 3 Huth 3 Fuchs 3 Mahrez 3 Ndidi 4 Drinkwater 4 Musa 1 Okazaki 3 Vardy 4 Subs: King 2 Gray 2 I don't see this turning now.
NewquayFox Posted 6 February 2017 Posted 6 February 2017 All 2s apart from Kasper & Ndidi 6: awful after 40 minutes and again a spineless Ref bottled it, if that was Vardy on Mata he would have seen red but because he's such a nice guy he got a yellow..... Man Utd deserved the win and I can't see us getting out of this mess even if Ranieri goes....
Bezzanator89 Posted 6 February 2017 Posted 6 February 2017 Kasper Schmeichel 5 - Persistently exposed by a increasingly porous backline, but still made a few decent stops to prevent a cricket score, actually shows a bit a passion and and refreshing honesty in the interviews. Danny Simpson 3 - Will be seeing double after 90 minutes of being turned inside out, and his distribution either found a Reds head or went straight out of play. Wes Morgan 3 - Will be wanting to drink some Captain Morgan after that, with all three goals being preventable, whilst he was stood around like a proverbial statue. Yes, he was that slow. Robert Huth 3 - For all his pre-match talk ahead of this match, he was virtually the spitting image of Morgan in terms of defending ability, positioning and speed. Very poor again. Christian Fuchs 3 - Remember last season when barely anything got past him and his distribution was pin-point accurate? Quite the opposite now, with his decision-making ability in free-fall. Riyad Mahrez 4 - Looked completely disinterested at times, and at times, anonymous. The one chance he did have was unlucky to fall the wrong side of the post from a free-kick. Wilfred Ndidi 7 - The only starting player to show real drive in the middle of the park, with constant endeavour and one particular bursting solo-run when no other options were available. Watch this one. Danny Drinkwater 4 - No questioning that his heart is in the right, but has a tendency to get overly-frustrated, which affects the rest of his play. Progressively became a bystander as the Manchester United onslaught ran the show. Ahmed Musa 4 - Low confidence continues to hinder his game, with one particular first-half chance that should have taken first time. A moment of hesitancy later, the chance was gone. Otherwise ineffective. Shinji Okazaki 3 - Boundless energy as always, coupled with the balance of a three-legged donkey. Simply cannot stay on his feet, so you will always find him on the floor, with nothing to show for all his tireless huffing and puffing. Jamie Vardy 4 - Until the midfield service improves, you can expect his goal drought to continue. Lots of running around, rarely with an end product as he was well-marshalled by United's defence. Did create a golden chance for Musa that should have been taken more clinically. Substitutes: Andy King 3 - Don't get why he was brought on. Is not a player that you need when you are losing with your backs against the wall. Attacking player, he is not. When you throw on a defensive midfielder when losing, you may as well be surrendering the match. Gray 5 - Showed plenty of endeavour like Ndidi, but the quality of the corner set-pieces were poor, with most not beating the first man. Should have probably started when the game was more open, rather than being brought on the game was near-enough won, would have had more of an effect this way. Claudio Ranieri 4 - Running out of ideas in his tinkering handbook? Maybe. Starting to run out of time? Sadly, maybe. But is being constantly let-down by the players, although you have to question the substitutions made when we were once again chasing the game. Anthony Taylor (Referee) 5 - Struggled to keep a lid on things in the first half, with one substantial incorrect decision not to send off Juan Mata for his dangerous challenge on Jamie Vardy, plus a few other minor wrong calls as well. Manchester United 7 - Against tougher opposition, this 3-0 victory would not have been as straight-forward. Kept at arms-length for 42 minutes, but from then on, it was virtually one-way traffic, with United cruising to a deserved win.
okie fox Posted 6 February 2017 Posted 6 February 2017 Schmeichel 6 Made a good save from Rashford Simpson 6 None of the goals came from his side, did OK against Rashford Morgan 4 Not close enough to Zlatan for second goal Huth 4 Over-committed himself for first goal (what was he thinking?), good in air, but ponderous on ground Fuchs 4 Ball watching for third, too slow. Chilwell makes mistakes, but at least he has some go Mahrez 5 Pulled out of challenges Ndidi 7 Our best player Drinkwater 4 Been poor ever since red card/injury Musa 3 Too weak, hardly contributed Okazaki 4 Pushed off the ball, too slow to pass to open man on breakaways Vardy 5 Put in some effort but needs too anticipate where the ball is going Subs; King 5 Closes down but never slides in to win the ball Gray 6 Some skill, and looked like he might score this year (unlike most of the starters) Ref 4 Weak: Mata's tackle on Vardy was a red-card ankle breaker Ranieri 3 (go) team has no fight, no spirit. Poor team selection Man U 6
Dickov22 Posted 7 February 2017 Posted 7 February 2017 Kasper 10 Top marks for his post match interview. Simpson 5 Up against a talent in Rashford, didn't do bad defensively Huth 2 So so bad for the first goal Morgan 2 Statue for Zlatan's goal. Will he score an easier goal this season? Fuchs 3 Extra point because I think you could tell he was trying really hard to do well Mahrez 4 Low on confidence and very poor Drinkwater As above. He's the most obvious one we have who isn't playing for Ranieri in my opinion Ndidi 6 Thought he did ok. Must wonder what he's signed up for! Musa 2 Absolutely hopeless. What on earth is the poor lad doing in the side? Like a little boy Okazaki 2 Useless as per Vardy 5 Hardest he's worked in a while but absolutely no service whatsoever. Gray 8 MOTM. God knows what this lad has to do to get a run in the side. In out in our constantly by Ranieri. He's head and shoulders above Musa and Mahrez at the moment. King 2 Absolutely anonymous To me it's clear the players are unhappy, Albrighton would be the first name on the team sheet for me because he shows 100% commitment every game. Galvanised us Ranieri 0 He's everything we were told he was when we appointed him.
