International break

The next is in March. We all know that the England team is not based on form.

What's the betting they pick Vardy and DD and they start; therefore knackering them for our next games and making our fitness issues even worse.

They shouldn't be anywhere near the England team, or our's at the minute. However, this means they probably will be.

More worried about our other players flying around.

I've no interest in England unless a city player is involved, but, given recent form I hope Vardy and Drinkwater are both picked, play, get sent off for violent conduct (preferably fighting each other) and are given at least a 4 game ban each.

I think you can choose a price on that mate

Drinkwater won't get the call. He was struggling to get a place when he was on form, they won't touch him now.

if they both get picked then conspiracy theories about the F.A. possibly wanting to get Leicester relegated for "news" will go into overdrive!

Realistically who do we have in the squad who gets a call up?

Kasper and Shinji, anyone else? Gray and Chilwell for the u21s?

Jamaica are out of WC qualifying, there are no games in African Qualification this round.

We may well have almost a full squad at home for the week, which could be invaluable in preparation for the run in.

Well it would be PL news not FA news so I don't see any connection.

I hope they go on a fancy dress bonding trip to Copenhagen......

They didn't pick Drinkwater when he was the best performing English midfielder so they're not likely to pick him when he's the worst performing English midfielder.

As with Vardy, I imagine that Rashford, Welbeck, Carroll and Rooney are all ahead of him right now in terms of their selection process. Sturridge too if he's fit. We all know that he's not good enough but he seemed to be a bit of a favourite of theirs. The change of scenery may work in his favour to be fair if he was to be called up. Would be surrounded by players with ambition for a change.

Might sound a bit undeserved considering the form and the predicament but perhaps use this week to go on a team building exercise, the squad, the management team....hell even rudkin and co.

I am not talking warm weather training in dubai but something out of bounds to help build  a bit of spirit.

lol C'mon mate this can't seriously be a worry can it? First off, Kane, Sturridge, Defoe, Rooney, Sterling, Rashford, Welbeck and even sodding Walcott are probably in with a shout of starting up front for England and probably deserve to more than Vardy. Henderson, Lallana, Barkley, Alli, Milner and again, Rooney are most definitely going to start ahead of Drinkwater.

The international break will always be to the detriment of Premier League players who are in form. We have bigger things to worry about, for example, if we're a quarter of the way through 2017 and we still haven't scored a goal.

I'd take Andre Gray over Vardy right now, and Carroll.

I'd have Dario Silva over Vardy right now, and he's 44 and has one leg.
