SemperEadem Posted 23 February 2017 Posted 23 February 2017 What have been some of the classic away ends we have had over the years? Brugge for me was on a whole other level to anything away from home we have ever produced in the stands. Noticeable shoutouts to Southend away league 1, Burnley in the Championship winning year, Chelsea in the League Cup in 2007 and Cardiff play off leg. Too young to go but the videos of the Stoke play off game and Notts County in the Zenith cup look class.
Guest Bilo Posted 23 February 2017 Posted 23 February 2017 Forest 2013 was pretty special for Knockaert's goal alone. There could have been deaths.
Aus Fox Posted 23 February 2017 Posted 23 February 2017 Stoke City play offs mid nineties, Garry Parker with the winner both amazing and shit scary at the same time. Taking 10,000 to Forest a couple of years a go for the FA Cup.

Foxesmints Posted 23 February 2017 Posted 23 February 2017 One of my favourites, April 23rd 1983, Fulham - took 8/10,000 and won 1-0 with an Ian Wilson goal. Me and my mate were actually in the Fulham end.
Old Fox Posted 23 February 2017 Posted 23 February 2017 Great topic.... Orient away away last day of promotion season....I was quite young but remember the joy of promotion Hereford away in FA cup before losing to Spurs in the semi final Oldham away and Fulham away under Milne..... Notts County in ZDS Bruge this season was quality for small number making a racket
Riot Van Posted 23 February 2017 Posted 23 February 2017 Been to maybe 75% of away games in the last 5 or so years and I genuinely cannot ever remember feeling the way I did when Huth scored that header at Spurs away last season. Our end wasn't amazing or anything but that goal man, that goal. Just thought I'd say.
TheSomersetFox Posted 23 February 2017 Posted 23 February 2017 WBA great escape year, the last 10 mins and the celebrations after were the best i've experienced personally.
TrentFox Posted 23 February 2017 Posted 23 February 2017 Fulham and Orient. Superb. Truly superb. Think I did all bar 1 always that season. Amazing memories.
crisp packet Posted 23 February 2017 Posted 23 February 2017 Brugge away was best I've been in class! Palace last season was special..
rmahrez Posted 23 February 2017 Posted 23 February 2017 Man City away last year was wonderful. Barnsley and Huddersfield in the promotion season as well.
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 23 February 2017 Posted 23 February 2017 Best away ends in Prem for me are WBA Stoke and Watford. People might disagree. I'm talking purely views here not simply atmosphere. Best away ends I've been in are WBA away in Great Escape, Forest 2013, Norwich FA Cup, Palace last season, Brugge this season. They're from top of my head
LCFC FOX Posted 23 February 2017 Posted 23 February 2017 West Brom in the great escape season when vardy scored a 90th minute winner. Scenes everywhere and basically the start of the great escape

I think it was the day of the Rugby League Cup Final and we ended up getting seriously ripped off in a Soho strip club, only managed to get out without paying as there was a large gang of Wigan(I think) fans in there and they were in the same boat!!
SemperEadem Posted 24 February 2017 Author Posted 24 February 2017 Norwich FA cup was meant to be very decent. Gutted I missed that one.
Izzy Posted 24 February 2017 Posted 24 February 2017 This one was special. Seemed like we had the whole of their main stand that night and it felt like we were the home team. Must have been at least 8,000 of us there I'd guess. Just listen to the noise we made. Great times...
Guest CityFan 06 Posted 25 February 2017 Posted 25 February 2017 Watford away in 2013, the 0-3 win. What a day that was.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 25 February 2017 Posted 25 February 2017 Scunthorpe 2008, when King bagged, we went top of the league and never looked back
Mint23 Posted 25 February 2017 Posted 25 February 2017 Athletico away was amazing but for me the 4-4 come back at Villa was something else just after Brian Little left us.
eblair Posted 25 February 2017 Posted 25 February 2017 weird one but Peterborough away the year before we won the championship; think ben marshall scored for us to make it 1-0, ended up losing 2-1 but genuinely an absolute mental away end

The year before in the belting sun was something too. Proper away support around those times.
