no-one joined in with drinky's chant lol

hopefully this trip has helped the new players bond with our main group.

team spirit really gave us an edge last season & is something we need to hold onto & build from for future success.

someone did join in the chant

I always assumed she was the owner's wife.

Team spirit. (Couldn't find a thread and wasn't going to start a new thread so this is the nearest thing I could find).

It's gone.

Just one of the things that was ruined under Ranieri for one reason or another last season.

Weird because they were close under Pearson but in the title winning season Ranieri seemed to get them even closer - easy when it's going right I guess but then it all crumbled the following season.

Shakespeare restored it/fixed it a little bit when he first took over but it cracked again and I think they've got even further apart again.

Shame because they were such a tight knit group, not sure what went wrong, you'd have thought such success would have made them even stronger as a group.

Long gone.

Not necessarily gone, but certainly not at the level it was. Losing matches does that funnily enough.

We've shown great spirit in fightbacks against Arsenal and Liverpool. We've also lost Drinky who I imagine was an important part of the spine of the team whilst Mahrez also wanted out.

I hope we will start to flourish a bit over the next few easier fixtures. But the new boys like Slimani, Maguire, Iheanacho and Iborra need to step up and make it feel like their home and take more pride in performances than the longer serving squad members. It would obviously help if they were playing lol

Slimani walked straight down the tunnel at full time again today as he did at Huddersfield with Mahrez. No staying on the pitch with his team or shaking hands with the opposition. I would love to know how he's integrated with the team because he gives off the vibe of someone who would be toxic for team spirit.

Lads are going away for Warm Weather training Sunday - Wednesday....

.... Doesn't strike me as something that would happen if an appointment was imminent.

Will be good for them anyway, a little more bonding and more time for Shakey to assert his authority on the squad :)

Shakey also said He will chat with the owners again on his future after Warm Weather training.

Silva is staying in leicester. Doing press-ups in the boiler room at the KP with the thermostat turned up.

I wonder if our illustrious Recruitment Team are also feeling the heat??
