Wizerud Posted 5 March 2017 Posted 5 March 2017 We are eight points behind Stoke in 9th. It's nice to be able to look at 9th as even a possibility.

As I said in another thread to someone, in the same way we might not have won the PL without CR as manager, we might not be playing so well right now had we sacked him sooner.

Yeah sliding doors. But we will never know. Main thing is football is fun again.

I don't like always harking back to last year but it definitely felt like last season rather than us getting our collective coats which is what's in the main this season.
Crinklyfox Posted 5 March 2017 Posted 5 March 2017 We're playing with confidence again, the players look happier and more relaxed and believe in themselves. Long may it continue.

Jakemoore Posted 5 March 2017 Posted 5 March 2017 It's incredible how football can change everything - I can actually go from having a really good weekend to a really bad one if those boys in blue do the business! I cannot wait for March 14th - so Buzzing to be going to my first Champions League game at the KP!!

Thracian Posted 5 March 2017 Posted 5 March 2017 A fortnight ago I looked at our remaining fixtures and wondered if we'd win any of them. Now I look at the same fixtures and wonder why we'd necessarily lose any.

Matt Posted 5 March 2017 Posted 5 March 2017 Yeah, I'm excited again. I up for games again, rightly or wrongly I was turning up to games knowing what was going to happen and really not enjoying it something resenting myself for after all that happened last season but I couldn't help it, it was a rut we we're in and I feel horrible for saying it but Ranieri had to go. We're all positive again, confidence is back and we look like our old selves again now. I'm trying not to be naive and think it's all plain sailing from now on because I think there will be bumps along the way even in the 11 games that are left but I have abit of pride restored. I might even crack that Fearless DVD out today that I bought and refused to watch yet because I was so pissed off with the shadow we become.
FoxyPalace.com Posted 5 March 2017 Posted 5 March 2017 Glad to see the lads looking happy and playing together again. Shakey has gone back to basics which all the players know works for them. I mean we look like a diiferent team, buzzing around usual service resumed. Still think the Thai's will want a bigger named manager to promote the club and to enhance signings. Let Shakey have the rest of the season then going over things again in the very early summer.
Guest Col city fan Posted 5 March 2017 Posted 5 March 2017 It'll be interesting to see just how well we can do now that Ranieri's shackles have been taken off the players. Amazing though it sounds to say it, I think that's what was happening.
