Vardinio'sCat Posted 1 May 2017 Posted 1 May 2017 Musa has clearly had a lot of domestic turmoil, which is something I personally didn't know about til a few weeks ago. I think we need to give him a second chance next season.. He picked a really bad time to arrive, as did our other summer signings.

I still think Musa could be an effective player for us, but you can tell when he's played he has lost some confidence going forward which is a shame. Against Hull first game of the season, Tottenham away and Crystal Palace at home, he has looked more the player we signed from CSKA Moscow. At present, he looks a different player from his CSKA days. Mendy is a good player aswell, but we haven't seen much of him this season with his injury. I can't really see either of Musa or Mendy staying but I'm confident they will go elsewhere and have similar impacts as Kramaric did with Hoffenheim - they have qualified for the UCL now I might add.
Chico1958 Posted 1 May 2017 Posted 1 May 2017 After the year we've had all the newbies get a Clean Slate for me............ Hopefully

Hopefully Shakey sees these guys every day in training. If he is happy to keep them here then I'm happy to give them a chance. Don't believe musa has had much of a chance in his favoured position and certainly not with us playing a pressing game which would allow him to break quickly. Mendy simply hasn't ever been fit apart from 45 minutes against Arsenal when we looked much more competitive than we did the second time we played them without him!

MC Prussian Posted 12 May 2017 Posted 12 May 2017 French TV station TF1 reported back in April that Wolfsburg and Schalke were interested in Nampalys.
