stripeyfox Posted 4 April 2017 Posted 4 April 2017 Just saw something come up on my timeline - 4th April 2015, exactly two years ago today was the day of the West Ham game. Cambiasso's brilliant goal kickstarted everything that followed. Seems like a loooong time ago now though. What memories we've had since then!
Sampson Posted 4 April 2017 Posted 4 April 2017 Also the game Albrighton came into the side - coincidence?

Hull, in 18th place have 27. They'd be 16th in 2015 and we would be 13th on 36pts. Will 40pts be enough this year?
shailen Posted 4 April 2017 Posted 4 April 2017 Wasn't this the first game the clappers came in as well?

That is a big ask but it's possible with their run in. I'd suggest 42 will be enough for survival, meaning they would need to win 5 from 8 which is surely too much for them. 2 more wins needed from 8 for us to reach 42. Good times! I'd like to see us finish 9th though so hopefully we can win 4-5 more... plus the Champions League.
Harry - LCFC Posted 5 April 2017 Posted 5 April 2017 40 points is rarely the amount you need, it's usually less. It'll likely be less this year too.

I think it all depends on Hull, as I can see other teams above them all picking up more wins, with the likes of Swansea, Palace and West Ham having enough quality I would have thought. If Hull are able to go on a run, which with their fixtures and their manager, could happen, then it may take 40 to stay up this season. They only have Spurs and CIty to play in their last 8, with the rest being winnable, but I imagine they will come up just short.
Buce Posted 5 April 2017 Posted 5 April 2017 Palace have a terrible run-in: Southampton (A) Arsenal (H) Leicester (H) Liverpool (A) Spurs (H) Burnley (H) Man City (A) Hull (H) Man Utd (A)
