He is often caught out of position/ flat footed and does become a liability as you wonder what he is going to do next with behaviour. His positioning, distribution and speed is a huge concern. I'm not saying every defender needs to be an 100m sprinter to be considered good but I don't see him as a defender who reads the game to help with the lack of speed.
