Tuna Posted 26 December 2017 Posted 26 December 2017 Pellegrino is heading for the sack IMO...owners will get panicky this time of year and Southampton are really struggling now.
CollinsLCFC Posted 26 December 2017 Posted 26 December 2017 Gunna lump on Pellegrino to get sack next.
Tuna Posted 26 December 2017 Posted 26 December 2017 For a few seconds there it looked like Southampton had a sniff then it's all over! Professional performance from Spurs.
CollinsLCFC Posted 26 December 2017 Posted 26 December 2017 Is Van Dijk injured or suspended, or is he just not included meaning he is definitely off in the window?

Gets a bit of stick on here and it's a shame he plays for Spurs but what a player he is. He's a fantastic goalscorer unfortunately, but he's not a good player. Forget how many times Facecloth has pointed it out, but watch his decision making, namely when to take a shot and when to pass. If he were in blue the match threads on here would be going ballistic at him 90% of the time (tbf, they were when he was here actually). Our title-winning season stands out - we played Palace away, Vardy in a difficult position, head up and found Mahrez for another 1-0 win. Spurs playing the same weekend, Kane in the same position, head down, driven wide. That sort of thing was why they were always 5 or so points back even before the collapse, and he's not improved it since. 2

We finally have a player for England again that could be unbelievably special. He's a phenomenal goal scorer but the rest of his game. For me. Stops him being as good as he should be. If he worked on his touch, dribbling and passing he'd be the best player the league's seen since Ronaldo left easily.
Koke Posted 26 December 2017 Posted 26 December 2017 Kane is bigger than Spurs. He deserves to win league titles and trophies. I hope he leaves them. Top player. 1
Tuna Posted 26 December 2017 Posted 26 December 2017 No way Kane will be at Spurs next season...he'll be at Barca or Real IMO.

Sir Shep Posted 26 December 2017 Posted 26 December 2017 Boxing Day madness, Southampton players probably over did the sauce last night. Expect our game to be 4-4 today!
ARM1968 Posted 26 December 2017 Posted 26 December 2017 Kane is bloody ridiculous. Probably the best goal scorer in the world currently. Needs to step away from Spurs. As for his his footballing ability, lineker was rubbish at anything other than scoring. If you’re a striker though that isn’t a bad thing. Kane needs a top 3 world club. Can see him going for a Neymar fee.
Guest Col city fan Posted 26 December 2017 Posted 26 December 2017 Harry Kane has become simply the most complete centre forward in world football. I’ve not seen such a clinical finisher as perhaps Torres in his Scouse days.

No. The days of a striker being a good player if they score but offer nothing else, or are even a massive hinderance in buildup play are long gone. Kane is a good goalscorer, but his all round game leaves a lot to be desired. Obvious biases notwithstanding, I'd still have Vardy over Kane, because he offers so much more to a side. 1 1
