You can say that about anyone ...

But you can argue that he is the most effected by the team's play style. Our defense, n'didi albrighton and vardy fit like a glove, Kasper will be good no matter what.

Right team, right attitude mahrez is one of the best around in terms of ability. Last season he only did things in flashes.

We would have never won the league without him, is and always will be a legend here.

at the end of the title winning season we'd have got 40 million + now we are look around the 30 if we are lucky.

Unfortunately he's the most affected by anything !!    If we are good he is good but when things aren't so good and we need to fight he just can't do it.   He should have been benched a lot more last season which would have benefitted everyone including him.    Weak management imo.

Stopped reading at 'bumming him'.

How old are you?

Your loss then. You might stand a chance of being educated about the game if you read my full posts.

You can keep putting your fingers in your ears and screaming 'I'm not listening' if you like but the facts about Mahrez are staring you in the face.

For how long are you willing to watch an uncommited player at your club?

Mahrez is class and I can't believe so many Leicester fans criticise him, very short memory's in my personal opinion. I personally love it every time he gets the ball as you never know what can happen, and his touch, wow. One of the reasons he was not as effective last season was due to the players around him, nobody made forward runs with the ball from our own half and instead played stupid hopefully balls, this meant no space to move in to and easy to defend, so I agree that Mahrez had a poor season but that was due to his team mates als being shocking. Last season either Kante or Drinkwater would win the ball back, pass it to a team mate who would carry the ball forward & in turn that turns the defence of the opposition creating room for a player like Mahrez. The biggest issue for Mahrez is that his style of play is not suited to a long ball team, he needs to play for a pass and move team.

only my opinion :)

but personally I will be gutted when he leaves as he won is so many games in his time at the club from 1 minutes of brilliance. The season we won the league he was largely ineffective for 85 mins, but the 5 mins of brilliance was a joy to behold.

my favourite ever Leicester player in my 40 years of following my beloved team

This seasons? Yes! But 2015-2016 mahrez came cluch more than once. Important goals in the second half of last season won the club the league,

Your opinion is wrong.

Case and point being the fact that most Leicester players upped their game when Ranieri was sacked - Mahrez didn't.

So blaming other players for his failures is simply incorrect.

It is only astonishing bias that can account for players being played week in, week out yet are seemingly never responsible for their poor form.

What he needed to do last season once he decided to stay was:

Be totally committed to the cause - he wasn't.

I have written about Mahrez ad nauseum, and really don't want to real off another in depth analysis of last season, suffice to say the major problem from where all issues stem from are in the sentance above.

What about him? He helped win the league too! Didn't mean that he (mahrez) won the league by his one, but some of those goals (just like vardy's vs Liverpool and Southampton won the league) had a big impact.

You really are the most embarrassing poster on this forum. The best thing about Riyad leaving will be not having to read your drivel anymore

Getting personal and nasty already?  At least, I appreciate the greatness of the player for no subjective reason (I'm not even his compatriot). Grow up ...

Nothing nasty about it. You can't answer simple questions to back up your statements therefore anything you say isn't really worth reading

Let's get this right.

Vardy in the title winning side was our most productive player.

Without any of the three of Mahrez, Kante or Vardy we would not have won the league.

Mahrez did not 'win us the league' on his own. It's a quite ridiculous to thing to write.

This last season Mahrez was nowhere  to be seen in terms of Pl goals, successful dribbles, key passes, work rate or assists. He was out played in all respects by other players.

This is the reality of the situation as it stands.

How can my opinion be wrong??

are you talking about 6 or 7 games they showed commitment due to the press slating them? Didn't see much commitment after we got knocked out of the champions league

He'll be our player next season as well then, if £30m is all anyone is prepared to offer.
