Both Leicester & Everton need to sell either mahrez or barkley to make the deal feasible but both teams definitely have the money. I don't see either player staying !!

Why do Leicester need to sell Mahrez in order for them to buy Gylfi?

Although I would LOVE Sigurdsson, and he is my first choice signing, I also think Everton's interest opens up another alternative.......

Everton are also rumoured to be the main team interested in buying Davy Klaassen from Ajax.

For me, this could turn out to be just as good a signing for us.

Ajax Captain, 24, plays as an attacking midfielder (could play just behind Vardy in the same way Sigurdsson would), and

is very much rumoured to be ready to leave Ajax now for a bigger challenge.

He would also be cheaper than the figures quoted for Sigurdsson in both fee and wages.

Only downside is he hasn't played in the prem, but he still looks like a gem to me!

If Everton do beat us to Sigurdsson, could that mean they drop their interest in Klaassen? If they do, This would be my next choice.

Thoughts?

The best signing we have made since gaining promotion is Huth. We need more premium experience in the team so I would prefer siggy

Fuchs and Albrighton may have a case, but your reasoning still stands, Gylfi knows the prem.

I assume your referring to Cambiasso

I think it was Dean Hammond.

To be fair if we hadn't signed Huth there's a good chance we'd have been relegated and therefore wouldn't have been in a situation to buy Kante anyway.

The owners helicopter just landed at the training ground ( i literally live over the road) half hour ago, clearly this is after picking Sigurdsson up, and bringing him here for the first of his 200 medicals.

I assume he is currently on international duty

Wouldn't mind buying him for up to £20m and giving them King as part of the deal, tbh.

King has been very loyal and committed, as well as being a decent (but sometimes average) Premier League footballer - however, Sigurdsson is probably a step-up from him in terms of creativity and hence would fit in very well in the team.

Don't think Swansea would be too happy with that..
