****ed up earlier big time. Went out to pick the daughter up from nursery forgot I had socks on with my shorts, indoors fine with shoes socks look ridiculous......although perhaps less so than mine which were illuminious orange.

I can't believe how many people on here wear socks with shorts.

 

You monsters.

 

A little bit of talc in each shoe stops the perspiration and prevents cheesy feet smell.

that would fall out of my sandals so i will still wear socks

A tea bag in the shoe will also get rid of unwanted smells. But that's if you make the schoolboy error of forgetting the talc.

Here we are taking the piss out of people who wear socks and shorts and also shoes.

 

Yet every week we all hero worship the same footballers who run around in the sun, wearing shorts, with socks, and shoes :)

Can we just appreciate it's not as warm today. Only wore a t shirt to work and now with the AC on it's colder than I expected.

Buzzing to that my dogs done use the cool matt I bought them, pretty sure I'd have melted without that last night.

 

As for the sock/ shorts argument, what sort of sick weirdo wears no socks with shoes? Squeeky twats.

Whats the temperature / ° Celsius in Leicester today?

 

Where I am/work it's 32°C now.

Where I live, 30 km away from here, its 28/29°C.

 

Lucky to live near to the sea.

 

Where my fathers in law live it's 40-42°C.

Some other places its 44°C...

....

 

With such high temps...:

 

Wildfire in Portugal that made (at least) 64 deads and more than 150 with injuries, almost it fathers in law village.

Fathers in law fought wildfire, fire was 100-150 meters from their house.

Fortunately they, and other family and neighbours managed to keep fire away from the houses and they are all safe.

 

We (Me, Mrs.) were far away (150km) and even if we want, we couldn't go there, roads were closed.

 

 

There's an english family that lives in a village also among those caught by wildfire that survived:

He messaged is parents 'it's the end'... But with luck and help they survived.

F**k portuguese politicians that made wildfire fight private, ending Airforce capability to fight wildfires a dozen years ago.

Now we pay a lot to private heli's and airplane's and still need help from spanish and french (Airforce..) airplanes.

 

With climate change Portugal/Spain/south Italy will be hit with more and more high temperatures.
