Beerschot: more fanatic supporters, unexperienced manager, some good players but imho overall not as strong as Westerlo, will NOT have home advantage in return leg Westerlo: team from a village but with quite a history at the highest level, manager always does well against OHL, better team than Beerschot, will have home advantage in return leg OHL should focus on their own game, they can beat both teams if they reach their first half of the season level. Guest Posted 28 February 2020 Share Posted 28 February 2020 I can't see Leuven getting promoted this season. They are not really looking very good at the moment.
Bonanza Posted 28 February 2020 Share Posted 28 February 2020 4-1 defeat against Virton. We played with our reserves and some youth players to give our first team players some rest for next week. Since Beerschot won their game against Lokeren and Westerlo lost against Union, we play Beerschot in the final.

There's still the Virton vs Beerschot game which needs to be replayed. But OHL will finish second or third and thus end up in group D, together with the 10th and 11th place finisher in 1A and the 2nd/3rd of 1B. Virtually it's looking like this: Kortrijk, Excel Mouscron, Virton and OH Leuven... very uninspiring group.
Pelotas Posted 1 March 2020 Share Posted 1 March 2020 (edited) Now the regular season is over I was checking the squad details, two striking facts: 1) damn we used a lot of players this season (37!) and 2) several youngsters (Laes, Vekemans, Gilis, Gillekens, Raemaekers, Lemti, Gaye, Ravet, Allemeersch, Asante, Libert, Mertens all from youth squad) got some playing time: No. Pos. Bonanza Posted 8 March 2020 Share Posted 8 March 2020 1-0 loss against Beerschot in the 1st leg of the final. We're very lucky it was only 1-0, as Beerschot could've been 3-0 up at halftime. Some very bad tactical decisions by our manager! In the 2nd half we played much better and even had some chances to score an equaliser. Everything is still possible in our homegame, but it won't be easy. Lizhang Posted 9 March 2020 Share Posted 9 March 2020 The manager decided to start experimenting, as if it were a regular friendly, in the final. Unbelievable. Tactically inept and clueless. Had we been trailing 4-0 after 30 minutes, it would have been justified. But the manager wants to focus on the one good chance we had and didn't convert (ball against the post/bar ... by a defender from the other team) and how the goal was given away too easily. Basically, it's always the players at fault. He's above that obviously and never to blame. He didn't see how we were pushed back, could have conceded 4 or 5 before half time if not for excellent saves from our goalie. How we conceded 8 or so corners before half time. That had nothing to do with his decisions. 7 hours ago, TheLittleBigMan said: Bloody hell. I don't suppose anyone knows if there's a channel showing the second leg? Disclaimer: I do not condone illegal streaming. If you don't want to watch an illegal stream (which most are), then i don't think you're going to watch the game. On the previous page somebody mentioned a website i don't even know. In Belgium our games are often streamed on a website called hesgoal. I know Unibet has a legal stream when you have an account with credits on your account, but i've noticed it doesn't work outside of Belgium. Maybe some other betting sites could legally stream the game, but i wouldn't hold my breath.
