Surely you are on the wind up? Your manager is hoof ball Pulis, what are you likely to win this year? It won't be the hearts and minds of footballing fans with your anti football. I'd suggest you bore off and keep living in the shadow of Wolves.

Err I think we're on dodgy ground when accusing others of playing hoofball....

The difference between us and Stoke, West Brom etc. Is our owners and how ambitious they are.

Lets be honest sleeping giants are the Sheffield teams and Leeds, Villa even.  Our owners could easily have picked another club.

remember a midfield of Alan Mayberry, Darren Kenton and Shawn Newton - I do.

It was Alan Maybury and he was a full back, as was Darren Kenton.

Not vs. Chelsea in the league cup - both played as makeshift midfielders.  Fair point on Maybury though

Honestly mate (and I mean this in the nicest possible way) you're wrong in all those statements and have no idea of the work that goes on behind closed doors.

Do u think the owners would keep anyone in a job whether it be the DOF, head of recruitment or the actual manager if they didn't think they were good enough?

I know a fair bit of what goes on mate, nowhere near as much as you probably but enough to know you're painting a very idealistic picture that others wouldn't. If you ever have the chance to meet Pearson or Ranieri in the future, ask them their honest opinion of Rudkin. In a fickle and brutal game where managers lose their jobs at the drop of a hat, the DOF and head of recruitment seem to survive after several poor windows and other poor work. Our academy's plight falls heavily on Rudkin too, he's still got his grubby little fingers in that and anyone who tries to upset the applecart is fcuked straight off. The owners love Rudkin, he's wormed his way in and they place loyalty and trust over ability in this role, there's no other explanation. What credentials has he got for that role or for talent spotting race horses!! Hahahahaaaa it's incredible.

A late 4-3 defeat actually,Lampard and Shevchenko getting the goals for them. Pretty sure Carl Cort netted for us lol.

I actually remember that evening quite well, was a cracking laugh. Every time Lampard came down to take a corner he was getting fat banter and taking it really well, joking back with our lot.

Bad news. We are going to end up with McCarthy as a replacement for Drinkwater. You just know it...

You presume we wanted him, not so sure myself.

As I said was already done deal. Losing to WBA, says volumes about the perceived attractivity.

Lock this effing thread.

How on earth did we manage that? Must have been a career highlight for Lampard and Shevchenko scraping a 4-3 win against a team containing Carl Cort, Darren Kenton and Alan Maybury. Makes me laugh that people complain about our current squad when we had to endure shit like that in the past! ?

You've got to ask yourself why don't we want him? A) previously tried to sign him B) worked very well with Iborra at Sevilla and C) given we need a quick fire replacement for Drinkwater he's surely the obvious choice. An easy negotiation as PSG need to get rid. Bit frustrating his is.

The scum from Brum,

They booked his flight,

But Krychowiak,

He saw the light,

He got the call from Vichai

And down he came to Filbert Way

HE HATES BROMWICH, HE HATES BROMWICH, Krychowiak HE HATES BROMWICH

> Please happen

Exactly, I'm exasperated reading some of the comments about players we're linked with, this is a cakewalk compared to 10 years ago lol.

Have we definitely lost out on them? Do we know if we actually bid for either and/or held talks with either?

Because we already have multiple DM's in the squad and few forward playing CM's. I'd rather have him than Iborra to be honest, it worries me forcing N'didi into being the forward thinking CM as his passing isn't up to it.

All this does is prove that we have never been in for the player.
